He initially quoted me higher and then charged me less due to my situation being a more straightforward tax case. 2. He prepared my federal and state tax returns, gave me the IRS payment documents for each plus the shipping envelopes, an itemized service sheet, the copy of my 2016 tax return and the independent contractor quarterly prepayment forms and corresponding schedules. I'd say all that commands considerable value. So I think what he charged was fair. I also feel like he'd look after you if you owned your own business, helping with reducing your tax liability as best as possible. All in all, you'd be in very good hands with Anthony.

He made multiple errors on my tax return, including entering the wrong address--an oversight that caused me to lose thousands of dollars in financial aid. I spent six months trying to get in touch with him while desperately attempting to submit forms to the IRS, only to discover that his incorrect input was the root of the issue. The most frustrating part? His complete lack of communication. During the most critical time of year, when clients need clarity and reassurance, he simply does not respond. It's one thing to be busy--it's another to be utterly unresponsive and leave your clients in the dark. I understand he's popular in certain circles, especially for getting people large returns--but I have to wonder about the legality and accuracy of those filings. If you run into any problems, don't expect help. Once your taxes are "submitted," you're on your own. Save yourself the stress, the errors, and the long-term headaches.
