We're now left with very little time to find a replacement and we'll probably lose a lot of money as a result of this surprise from them. Facts: we agreed to work together at the start of this year. They shared a portal for us to upload docs into. It took us a few weeks to get started uploading those docs but we're still within their purported time-frame in mid-February. We had some access issues that, for myself, they fixed; that was not fixed for my wife and we had to bug them several times in the last week before our scheduled tax prep meeting. They then reached out to me, saying that they can no longer work with us and that they'll delete all the files I uploaded to their vault. When I asked them why, they did not respond.

Filing Process: They request documents long before April so that they can work on my tax return before the April rush. I send my tax documents and business statements via their secure portal. After they have worked on my taxes, the team reviews my filing with me and helps me with planning for the next year. They point out opportunities and areas to improve on, as well as projections for next year and areas I want to be mindful of. Extra: The Dimov Tax team sends out reminders throughout the year for important things to keep in mind such as: dates, tax strategies, changes in local tax law, changes in federal tax law and changes in government policy.
