BAM became as much a toy store as a bookstore some years ago. It's actually gotten a little better recently, actually gave some floor space back to books. I was there Monday. My friend went to the restroom and came back wanting to leave because there was no t.p., but I went and got a young man who had the good grace to be embarrassed and to fix it promptly. I bought three books and got a very nicely prepared cup of coffee at the JoeMuggs area. The franchise has reduced the offerings at the area, but I was always a cup of coffee kind of person anyway. The cashier had to go across to a different register to preorder the new Prince Harry book for me, but it was handled efficiently and I got a reduced preorder price which included shipping to my home and is significantly less than I would have paid on Amazon (I checked). So, it was a pleasant visit to what is more bookstore than toy store and I saved a few bucks. Very nice. read more

Website is awful to use. They sell things they don't have and expect you to wait months even though it says 3-5 day shipping. I will never buy from them again read more

This BAM is particularly awesome. They had exactly what I was looking for and things I didn't know I was looking for. The staff was helpful and professional. Parking, of course, was easy with the huge parking lot in front. If you are in the area, stop on by. read more

I've been coming here for a few years and there is always something good for a great price! This is the only full price book retailer I go to now. Great selection for books on sale and they switch them up a lot. Lots of new releases as well, but I mainly come here for the deals! read more

A pretty wide selection of books seemingly specializing in children's and Christian books. Staff is friendly. A nice place to browse.

You name it , they got it, very helpful if you need guidance, definitely going back, staff very versed in all aspects.

Came here for my first time in a long time today. I had a good time looking around but couldn't help but notice how uncomfortable I was when one of the staff was following me around and glaring at me like I was stealing. The entire time. Great store. Tons of books and gifts. The staff is super helpful. I love their "in house" coffee shop. A couple of issues I have; with all the books they have they just did NOT have the one I wanted. I get it. They can't have everything. But the big issue for me, is it's so hard to find a book sometimes. The racks are well labeled by categories, however, I feel like they are almost too broad to get you in an area of something in particular without asking for help. But all in all it's a great store for a big box kinda place. read more

Drove over here to pick up a copy of John Perry Barlow's autobiography. Spent 20 minutes looking for it until i gave up and asked a cashier. They saw 3 copies in the system but after looking on the floor and in the back for 5 minutes she couldn't find it either. Apparently it's still in a box back there but they're not sure which one. Asked me to call back later in the week to see if it's out yet. Amazon has it listed as a number one best seller and it came out June 5 but somehow they haven't bothered to put it on the floor yet. Hard working staff; not sure where any complaints about incompetence are stemming from. I found that, while a book that's popular and on display in different spots takes a while to find, if the first person I ask doesn't know, they find out. They don't shrug and say "Eh". If they don't have it in stock (not every item wanted anywhere is always in stock) they will either find a copy by calling their nearest store, order the book to the store for you to come pick up, or order it to your place. I almost knocked a star off for the club cards and magazine sales, but it's not like they take my free-will to say "No" if I want. Anyone can breeze past most retail attempts at upsale; let them finish their pitch, and just say No Thanks. read more

Love BAM!! Something for EVERYONE! They sell more than books and I was able to buy gifts for everyone in my family for some Christmas gifts!! The staff is always friendly and willing to help and if they don't have something, they'll check other locations or offer to order it online for yon and you can pick it up their store! Huge range of selection as far as books go. Every time I visit I always find so many great books that always leave me satisfied. However I was very disappointed with the coffee shop. I went to check out and ordered a coffee and then both of the workers present at the time finally started on several orders and we had to wait at least forty five minutes to finally get our order which was very disappointing. It took both workers to make one drink at a time. read more

I love BAM, it has a very large range of books, and the coffee shop is great. The only problem i have is when i found a the books the Children of Eden, which i wanted all three books. They had number 1&3 in paper back (which is cheaper) but did not have number two. but other than that great store! read more

I love this store...love the coffee shop, love the layout, love the smell of new books! I rated this store 4 out of 5 stars because of the annoying staff...there is one skinny black guy with dreads that is always super helpful when i cant find specific books im looking for and he has actually read (gasp!) books....the rest of the employees usually seem clueless as to where books are and seem to be going through the motions AND when im ready to check out (this is the annoying part)- they PRESSURE me to get a BAM membership. I dont mean subtle hints or light suggesting-its like their job is dependent upon my getting a membership and maybe, just maybe, if they keep up the "omg, you seriously just bought four books and you dont want to join??" mantra, ill cave. I dont want a membership!!! Let me buy my damn books in peace!!!!! But seriously, its a good bookstore. They have one cool employee that wont pressure you, the coffee is good, and the prices are average. read more
