Good start of acknowledgment of customers coming in. The book store is a large one!! They offer all kinds of books of different categories. They have science fiction, mysteries, cook books, self help books, children's books, Anime, magazines, comics, and more!! I'm sure I've missed many categories!! They also sell games, book markers, toys, faith gifts, and more. Overall, a nice addition to a small town. They offer a nice variety of books. There were discounts on certain books as well. The shelves could use a good straightening because things are hard find but staff helps you find them easily. Their new location (in the former Savers Furniture building on North Main St) is a drastic improvement on the old. The book selection seems to be smaller, which is understandable, but it's also cleaner. They have a greatly expanded selection of furniture and "antique mall" type collectible items at decent prices. While it's still not my favorite secondhand store, it's worth trying now!

It's spacious with lovely greenery and reading nooks--and it has a Harry Potter room! The kids section has heart-melting tiny cushion seats for the littlest readers in your life. No space is wasted here as you'll see bookish tokens from totes, socks, and pencil pouches placed in various locations. The main space has comfy couches, great lighting, and it almost makes you feel like you're reading in an English garden. Fabulous selection of used and new with fair prices. The owner was a gem and so nice to chat with. If I lived in Springfield, I would be here all the time. I'm definitely coming back to stay in "Sleep Above the Shop" space.
