My son started going to bookworm preschool shortly after he turned 3. The requirements are very simple, be potty trained and ready to learn. My son had never been away from me for long periods of time except for the birth of his brother and that was over night. I was really worried about how he would do and how the staff would handle his breakdown. Miss Lee the teacher was amazing she had such compassion and understanding with my son. He begged to go back and is going back for this year. She's worth every penny. The children do several projects during the year and they have two performance celebrations one at Christmas and the end of school where they serve the parents cookies or for example this year it was an ice cream party. My son goes on the Tuesday and Thursday half day program. He's learned so much and even started some basic French . Rather then larger preschools he is in a very small classroom setting of no more then 5 students which is great. She teaches hands on rather then from a book .
