Fries seasoning was mix of spice & salty and just right. Our lunch was too good to limit to just once so we grabbed a pound of brisket and smoked turkey to go for lunches this week. Highly recommend to make this a road break on your next trip to or from the area. Definitely plan to talk with the 3-person crew who own/operate it because they have loads of knowledge about bbq joints wherever your travels take you.

Here at Woolf Den the sandwich would have been divine on its own...the jus was just the icing on the cake! The sandwich was closer to a Philly cheesesteak--thinly-sliced, griddled steak, mushrooms, peppers, onions, and gooey melted cheese on a hoagie roll. The jus was flavorful. When I was done dipping my sandwich, I had half a mind to drink the remaining jus...it was that good! However, I'm a civilized human being, so I just dipped everything I could find into it...crackers, mainly. So good! I think I'll dream about that sandwich. My coworkers got the club sandwich and the Philly cheesesteak. Both really enjoyed everything they had. The women behind the counter were sweet, too. It's nice to be greeted when you walk through the door. They also offered good recommendations. I don't think you can go wrong at this place. It really is one of the best kept secrets in North Texas. Normally only open for breakfast and lunch, it's open on Friday night for burgers and all you can eat catfish! You can get the catfish in smaller portions, and a full 8 piece might be all you need! It's small and country style. If there's only 2-3 of you, you might be asked to sit with others, so be ready to be friendly! If you are asked, you DEFINITELY want the beans (and the green tomato salsa if they have it!)
