I went to this shop to repair a battery issue on my apple iPad pro 12.9" 5th generation tablet…read more They gave me a form and told me to show and tell them in writing the prior damage or issues with my tablet, all that was wrong with it was the battery and minor scratches, I take care of my tablet for digital art and I used it all the time. My boyfriend paid roughly $175 for a new battery. I was afraid that they would damage it more or remove all my data, and that they did. I was given my tablet back with a broken screen (ruined my ART tablet with PRESSURE SENSITIVITY with an apple pen), a chip (moreso chunk) of the glass on my screen was GONE and the screen was completely cracked. They filled the missing chunk with resin to "fix" the issue. Not only that, but my power button NO LONGER WORKED. They "enabled controls" so I had to turn off my tablet with buttons on the screen. They accused me of saying the reason why the screen was was broke is because of "micro cracks" that couldn't be seen when they tried to remove the screen. Never told me the reason my power button is broke. When I got home I didn't think it could get any worse, but once it was almost dead I plugged it in only to find out IT DID NOT CHARGE. They did not fix my battery issue and so my mom took it in because they didn't fix the battery, they took it in the back and gave it to my mom saying it charges fine (it still doesnt) and after that day she took it, when it was off and I tried to turn it on, it showed that IOS needed to be restored, which means they DELETED IOS off my tablet completely, which in return makes me lose ALL of my data and things on my tablet. So, in all they broke my screen, power button, removed IOS off my tablet, and didn't even fix the issue. They refused to refund my boyfriend or fix what they broke, rather offered to fix it for blank price. Now I will have to take my tablet in to get fixes for repairs that can range from $500-$800. Thanks for nothing.

we took my son's Xbox x into the phone doctor after verifying they could fix his broken HDMI port…read more they told him it would be fixed within the week. we gave it to them July 21st and did not get it back until August 11th after having to physically go in and request for it back, then still having to wait a day because they didn't even have it there to give me. they never called once to give status updates. my son called several times where they told him they were just still working on it. before we drop the Xbox off it worked completely fine besides the wiggly HDMI port if you held the cord and just the right position everything still work just fine. they panicked in store when I finally was able to pick it up and told them I was going to take the Xbox to a different shop to have them evaluate it. trying to offer to keep it and tried to convince me that he was the only technician within a hundred miles that does these repairs and that everybody sends them to him anyways so he should just keep it to try to fix it. I got extremely suspicious after this conversation and I am so glad I took it to a new shop! At the new shop after their evaluation was done we get a phone call to say that the motherboard, a chip on the board, a cable, and two capacitors were all affected by a burn/burns done by a soldering iron. they're not even sure they can replace the chip since it's proprietary to Xbox! I wish we had never taken his Xbox into the phone doctor. They did give him his $40 back that he paid at drop off as a deposit but only after a negative review on Google. This whole experience has been terrible and now has left my son without his Xbox completely. He saved up for over a year to be able to pay for that himself. Now it's going to cost over $700 to replace it due to the damage by the technician at phone doctor. I will not downplay that the outside of this Xbox had cosmetic damage. I feel like they took advantage of the teenager who I was trying to have him handle by himself. My worst thoughts are they took the innards of his Xbox that were good and working and put them in something else and then gave him back this busted inside. I have emailed the Oklahoma city office. I do hope that they come to a restitution in this instance.
