Usually when you see a little "hole in the wall" restaurant with a few cars you can expect the unexpected. As I walked in you are greeted by a gruff speaking older man. Nothing appealing about the front end service. Food was brought out and served hot. Shrimp Po-boy served on two hamburger buns with a side of fries and gravy. Not sure how the gravy played with meal. No napkins or condiments offered so I went and found them located at the front on the trash can. When I opened the ketchup flip too I was grossly surprise. Bottom line: The food is nothing special and the restaurant is sub-par in cleanliness. Nothing to see here. read more

Food ok. I ordered a BLT. My bacon was burned and cold... Probably left overs from breakfast. The place is extremely Smokey from the grill not being vented outside.. Now I and my hair smell like a greasy grill. The previous posts was from April... I forgot to press continue.. I'm here again today August 8 to post again. I decided to try it again.. Arrived with my friend at 9:45... Breakfast is until 10:30.. Ordered 2 egg breakfast... With grits, bacon, and coffee. Was told.......... "We ain't got no more bacon and we out of coffee and we ain't got no more grits cause we ain't cooking no more bacon or grits today".....well.... I asked her if she could make some coffee.... She just simply said..."no cause mot many people drink coffee during the day.... Those were her words....not mine So I had the breakfast they wanted me to have. Never again!!! I ordered a shrimp po-boy and my girlfriend ordered chicken strips and corn nuggets. The shrimp po-boy was really good and she said her food was good as well. The only complaint I have is that they forgot to bring us our drinks and her corn nuggets. read more

I was driving through randomly and Boomer's is next to the gas station. I can't read the drive thru sign very well, but the food there is delicious! Great po boy, great shrimp in it, good tea. Fries could use more salt, and at first the gravy seemed subpar (but still goes great on the po boy) but I really liked this place. read more

Great little stop for some comfort food in Delhi. Service was great with super friendly staff, and very reasonable prices considering what's on the menu. There was something on the menu for the whole family, from toddlers to teenagers! Burgers are fantastic and the fried shrimp alone is worth the drive. If you don't want the usual fast food, this is well worth the stop. read more

Tasty food that is affordable and served by friendly staff. We had the catfish basket and chicken fried steak. Both were very good. Dining room is open with limited seating but the drive thru was busy. Portion size was surprisingly large given relatively low cost. I recommend as a good stop for a bite while traveling I-20. read more

The food is cheap but surprisingly decent. The only issue I have... The man up there is rude af. He told my mom over the phone "if you have to ask the price of the po' boy, you probably can't afford it.". She said she probably couldn't and hung up. I would not have been so nice. I ate a double cheese burger two members of my family had the special of pork chop, mash potatoes and green beans at 4.95 great price. Service was good and the atmosphere ok table wobbled and walls scarred. The amount of fries served with the burger a little skimpy. Overall a good experience. read more

Not the worst, but no where near the best. Inexpensive fried food, would not go back. Catfish was mushy. You will come out smelling like fried food. But the people who work there were very friendly. read more
