The minute you walk in you're going to be hungry, even if you just ate. The house smoked and cured meats can literally be smelled in the parking lot. DGS has everything from local North Michigan specialities to fresh produce and an array of MI butchery products. The star of the show however is all their house made meats... Sausages, brats, jerky, etc., DSG has it all. Plus the staff is super friendly and helpful... Some of the friendliest people we've met in a while. When we're in the Cadillac area again, we will no doubt make a point to get back to DGS to stock up... Two thumbs up.

However, he straight up lied about being the head manager of the store and was nobody else who could help me. Truth is a friend of Adam's named Chris, who is the head manager. He also has a bad attitude and only helped out by me making a formal complaint to corporate. They spoke to Chris and sent the case number to him. Less the 5 minutes later, he called me and said they would send me the 3 pills I was shorted. I was told I could no longer get my Rx in Cadallic and Ludington. I called Ludington to find out that was false as well. I'm just letting you all know the truth about Adam as a pharmacist. He lies, gives out broken pill and powder. Then tell you that you did it,because he can guarantee it. Just keep your eyes on him at work. He is always busy talking to anyone who is there, but customers.

It was so juicy I was eating it as I was giving it to her...I tried the Rangoon's and they were so delicious cold I went in and bought more. I'm going to have them for dinner tonight. Lots of high end spirits and wine. Many small batch jars of sauces, condiments, jams, etc. Boars Head meets sliced for you. Nice salmon and Tuna. Plus the regular groceries that everyone needs. Hansen Foods brings in produce from local farmers as well as canned goods from local producers. Prices are competitive especially for a small store. They're a little higher than the major grocery chain but it's nice to support local businesses. Staff are friendly and the owner wants to accommodate and evens does some special orders if a product is low or out of stock.
