The ladies there are always friendly. Also always willing to find an answer to any questions I have. Great experience.

This bank has multiple branches and staff rotate thru so never know anyone and they certainly don't try to know you. When doing In-person transactions I try and deal with the one staff that's a holdover before Vision bank took over. She knows this isn't my only bank. She also knows the clothes I wear on my non-work days are not a reflection of my profession. She also knows I am one of the best in an extremely niche profession. Recently my experience attempting to resolve some online banking issues presented a showcase of Vision Bank's systemic tragic customer service. After conversations with 3 staffers, it is obvious the bank's policy is customer wrong. Literally one of their staff told me I was wrong when I explained his newly issued pass work and user ID wasn't working. Those I attempted to work with seemed like a phone salesmen, glued to a script with no care for the customer's concerns. One couldn't even answer the question "What is your name?". His response was, "I work in Grimes." I had to ask two more times before he answered. Management took no ownership of the multiple poor conducts (perpetually interrupting me, talking negatively, making assumptions that were way wrong, etc...) of staff. Ultimately the management's resolution was that 'we part ways'. I'm gobsmacked that a business would willingly and wishfully throw away a customer. An attitude that is very reflective of their business practices.

They said yes. Ask me if I had an account there and I said no. They said they would have to charge me 10%. Then they said there was a $3.00 minimum charge. I replied "you have no vision." I said "I would give them a really nice review." These people have no concept of the idea: earning your business. Bye Bye NO-Vision Bank.

Take this as your warning, Members 1st Credit Union Boone is the ABSOLUTE WORST! If you're even…read moreslightly considering using them...please reconsider! Or at the very least, take a few minutes to read the reviews about them on the various online platforms before engaging in any type of relationship whatsoever; I wish I had as what I later discovered was honestly gross. Any credit union that will intentionally try to screw over a 19 year old kid is 100% bad news...and that is exactly what Member's 1st Credit Union is, bad news. They are 0% interested in assisting in RESPONSIBLE credit building. Think about this for example. An 18-19 year old kid, saves up 35% of a 13K car for a down payment, is working hard at a job, saving money AND going to college. Then, applies for a car loan to begin to responsibly build credit, build a strong payment history and prepare for the future - because hey, you've saved 35% for a down payment, you're working a good job, you have NO DEBT, no monthly bills, and it's the perfect time to build your credit before you graduate college and want to buy a house in a few years, right? I mean, you're making around $2400 a month, fortunately have $0 in living expenses, bills, or debt and this measly credit building car payment is going to set you back around $220 per mo. Make sense? One would think. All while having a "supposed" fiscally responsible banking professional adult screw over a 19 year old kid! You're awesome Members 1st! I hope you're extremely proud. I will be posting this review on every online platform I can find that reviews Members 1st Credit Union to warn every individual (and every parent) to steer clear. I would give them 0 stars if it were an option.
