Got the food home and pizza was good, tasty. The mushroom pie was great, couldn't really taste the onion base but it was good. Liked the cheeses. Crust crispy, no soggy bottom here! The second pizza was the hit, fennel sausage really makes it. The salad was lacking. Dressing was good but the lettuce was wilty and toppings were few ( Kalamata olives sliced in half and cherry tomatoes in halves) no bread/croutons at all so not sure what made it panzanella? Not cheap either. Anyway, my dinner mates said the pizza is better in the restaurant so next time I'll give that a go.

Considering your only gluten free option is a medium at a $4 additional cost, paying $25 for a mediocre pizza was not money well spent. It's basically on an outdoor patio that's been screened in with plastic with lovely space heaters that keep everyone warm. There are a few seats inside as well but I've never been there. The ambiance is lovely - it's always buzzing with people coming and going and it's often a bit of a wait for a seat but once sitting down you aren't disturbed except with the lovely staff delivering food. Every staff person I've encountered has been friendly and while super busy seem to really enjoy being there. Wide variety of people too - people from the ski hill, pre theatre people, after work people. And the best part? Dogs are allowed!!

For entrees I had a special of the day - schnitzel with onion sauce and my husband had a pork dish in a mushroom sauce with noodles. My schnitzel was very good but my husband thought the pork in his dish was very dry. The service was good and it was a very enjoyable evening.
