From the door to the bar, 2 steps. Almost no where to sit and you love that. Walls of things to look at....which strikes up more conversation. Seeing how many people you can squeeze into one small closet. Been by a few times in the short time I've been here. One drink or five; This is a good time, every time. Being a microbrewery, their own beers appealed to me rather than bigger commercial names and it was good to see that they made a range of beers which could be tried in tasting trays of 3 or 6. The bar area has been renovated very simply, it seems by just removing ugly paint and showing off the original features of the building. There is no music, just the sound of a packed bar enjoying an excellent and ever-changing selection of local real ales. There are even home made pork scratching sold by the half pint, no need to say any more.
