No reviews of Boot Country yet? How is this possible? Well I think Boot Country is... just alright, and it is sort of going downhill. They have a nice selection of boots that I would describe as half work boots & half dressy. The mens clothing section is nice but a little lumped together, you have to dig for shirt brands because they are all put together on only a few racks. They have some very nice things buried here & there and you have to look around for awhile. As far as jeans and work wear (flame resistant) they have you covered, but again their stuff is mixed so you have to hunt. The womens and children's sections are nice and I guess it is pretty cool that they even have a kid's section, along with hats and boots for kids. The prices are decent. About what you'd pay anywhere. The staff is friendly. That said, I think they have been very unfocused lately as far as bringing in some stuff that has nothing to do with boots or even western wear. I guess they are all excited to carry tons of Yeti and K2 coolers, but don't you think you can get those just about anywhere these days? Then they started bringing in Southern ___ (fill in your favorite brand, Proper, Tide, Point, etc etc) shirts which I thought was a mistake because in order to accommodate that stuff they moved all the western wear into the corner. Then here comes the Kuhl pants (you can buy those ANYWHERE now), next it's sandals, beach gear, and team wear (they started getting in college memorabilia). Then comes the Saxx underwear -- all this stuff honestly has NOTHING to do with western wear or boots and it's a shame seeing one of the nicer places turn into a bro-stop. I think they are feeling like they need to do this because of that big box western store opening up in West Hattiesburg, but they should have stuck to western wear instead. Now it's all put in the corner in huge piles, and when you walk in it's Yeti, Southern Tide, Saxx, Rainbow Sandals, and Costas. I guess if you want real western wear you have to go to that big box place! Sad. read more

Every time I have ever went into Boot Country I was greeted immediately and was asked if I needed any help. This is a great place to go and buy any kind of western ware, they have it all!
