Admission is $6, kids are ok, along with leashed dogs. Plan to spend an hour if you like to read and take in sights. There is a gift shop if you need a post card or beverage. There is next to no shade, so dress accordingly (and wear your sunscreen and hat). For $6, it's worth it. Especially when in Rome, I mean, Tombstone.

I got a cute painted ceramic skull, as well as five postcards for $1 to send to my friends while I was on vaycay. The two shop owners are extremely friendly older folks, who were happy to chit-chat with me about where I was from while checking out. The woman did a very good job of bubble-wrapping my item so as to ensure its safety on the rest of my journey. She was also more than happy to exchange a dollar bill for 4 quarters, as I wanted to utilize the penny press machine just outside her establishment. There's also a hilarious animatronic Wyatt Earp in the style of those Zoltar machines that "tell your fortune." This shop is almost right next door to the O.K. Corral, so if you're going to that gunshow, I'd suggest poking your head into Sue's. =)

The staff who I believe were the owners, were fantastic! They were personable and knowledgeable and took great care in wrapping my delicate items (I purchased a fully articulated bird skeleton in a delicate glass case as well as a taxidermied furry bat) as well as some odds and ends, crystals, Buffalo teeth and some AMAZING buttons ! Marshall Applewhites "Beam me up"! Baaaahahahaha! Everything made it back to San Diego with no problem ! They also gave me a few free incense sticks and a tombstone sticker. I can tell that the owners absolutely love their store and one even commented that it was his dream to have this place. The energy is palpable and gratitude is genuine. I also appreciated hearing the gal very lovingly dispel stereotypes to a curious customer regarding voodoo/witchcraft and energy and spell work. The passion is noticeable. When walking back by with my husband, I pointed it out and he liked it just as much as I did. The price was great and we went ahead and purchased it. The lady who helped us said she would hang onto it for us and wrap it up for travel and we went back and picked it up later. She bubble wrapped it a few times and it made the 2500 miles home! It's also worth mention that before I went to pay, I happened the same woman complaining to another employee that a woman came in and bought some Sarsaparillas for her entire family. If I ever return to Tombstone, I am not even going to step foot into this shop if that rude employee is there. If you want to go to a town that has rude employees at gift shops, this is shop is definitely a great place to look...
