(Impressive as the checkout area was only small, given the size of the store and the fact there are no self-service checkouts) As a small store, the selection is limited but is decently stocked given their size. Due to the size of the store, the facilities are limited compared to what one would expect from Boots, and offers the bare minimum, while also shutting earlier than other nearby locations, at 6 pm. 3* - OK, good location but much better pharmacies nearby from Boots and rival brands.

Now this review was nearly a 2-star because the staff initially seemed a bit like they couldn't be assed and I was struggling to catch someone's else even though I'd been loitering in the skin care area for ages. Finally I got someone to help me and she was great - actually really helpful, showing me the products and happily gave me decent sized mini tubs to take home and try. I mean, if I'm going to spend £60 on moisturiser, I want to make sure it's amazing. This store is also a lot bigger than I expected and has a range of candles/bubble baths. If you're looking for something a bit more upmarket than Boots/Superdrug for your skin care and makeup, then Space NK is pretty damn amazing.

I was once put in the direction of "Dr. Seabagh Foaming Cleanser" after a couple of months of breakout hell. I'd tried everything and this was a last resort, It wasn't cheap, £22 for 100ml bottle and I was sceptical but I decided to give it a go. It cleared up my skin in about 5 days, it was like a miracle! I swore by the stuff for nearly two years but then I moved to Germany for ten months and it stopped working. It could have been the water there but I haven't used it since. I might pop back soon to give it another shot as when it worked the results were fantastic and I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking for quick results for breakouts. As far as I'm aware Space NK is the only stockist in Glasgow, hurrah! They used to stock loads of Philosophy products but they don't have so many anymore. My favourite purchase from here was a lipgloss set from Philosophy which was called "A Few Good Men", these men were, "The Muffin Man" - a lemon muffin flavoured lipgloss, "The Gingerbread Man" - a tasty gingerbread lipgloss and my favourite, "The Ice-Cream Man." Unfortunately they don't have this set anymore, but who knows, maybe one day they'll make a return. I popped in looking for a Dr. Seabagh foaming cleanser as Space NK are one of the only stockists in Scotland, they don't stock it here but they do have it in the concession store. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a friendly shop assistant who helped me with my enquiry so top marks for customer service it's just a shame that this branch seems strangely empty. They do have a good range of Laura Mercier products and NARS cosmetics but I guess it wasn't much constellation as they weren't what I was looking for. Space NK have also started stocking new "Lime Crime" lipsticks and come in a whole range of vibrant colours from fuchsia pink to black and are £14 a pop... I'm not so sure how I feel about black lipstick though. The store is very organised and fresh and if they don't have what you're looking for pop along to the Space NK in Harvey Nick's, you might be lucky.

The range in store is good for beauty products, and toiletries, as well as the meal deal offering, as with any Boots I do find them to be a little pricey, but you can get some good deals when combined with the Advantage Card, which is their loyalty scheme. The staff are friendly and the store is pretty easy to follow, I was able to get in and out of the store, sorting out an adjustment for my eyeglasses fairly quickly. And although I fly every other week - there is still something different every time! I used to use my Boots points to pick up shampoo, toothpaste, etc... after the security checks but one day - no Boots! But, was I left out in the cold? Nope, because a Superdrug had appeared out of nowhere! I'm a bit boots loyal, but hey - a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. So I wandered around the unfamiliar shelves of Superdrug and was pleasantly surprised to find all my favourite brands - most on special offer! So nice that the high street deals and prices are the same inside the airport. Being new, it was clean and shiny and well stocked. All in all, a successful and pleasant shopping experience and a great way to get full sized toiletries into your carry on (and most airlines allow a bag of items purchased in the airport so if your carry on is stuffed you're still good to go). Now I just need to sort out a Superdrug loyalty card.

For starters, if you're anything ore than a size zero you'll need to hold your breath in as you sidestep dow the ridiculously small aisles, otherwise you risk knocking everything off. And if the thing you're looking for is on any other shelf than the top one, forget it. That was annoying enough, but when I finally did find the hairbrush section the only one that looke vaguely like what I wante was nearly £10. Not a chance, Sally. Instead, I went to Boots further along the street and got a much better one for £2. And I can't say I'll ever rush back to Sally again.

This place is great because once I found my favourite stuff I go here and go lareg which saves me loads. This is one of the only shops in Edinburgh that has the full (and very, very beautiful!) range of OPI nailcare and nail varnishes. They have a massive rane of hair dyes so what I've done in the past is bought the stuff for a hairdresser friends to do instead of paying salon prices. NB I do not recommend this if a)you don't trust your friend or b)you don't have a friend who is qualified!!
