The products are good, and classic, but fairly pricey especially for what you are getting. as my mum always says: 'its the best shop ever to come to dundee!!'…read more lol yeah this shop is fab, its on the second floor of the wellgate shopping centre, been open about 3- 4 years now, they have a great selecetion of items, at only £1, everything is only £1. they sell a great selection of products, well-named brands, they are usually sell at over £1 each, for example, you can go in and buy a bottle of shampoo for £1 and go next door and pay £2.49 for the very same product!! its crazy likes!! its great for stocking fillers, for kids, at the mintue they have some high school musical products and hanna motanna, great for christmas which is around the corner!!lol and also its great for packed lunch items for the kids, like bottles of juices and mutipacks of crisps. the staff are very friendly.

They…read morehave a place to develop photographs (now probably the only one in town since the others shut down), a pharmacy, perfume counter and all the other items Boots usually sells. Luckily they choose not to change round the store as often as other Boots stores do, which makes it fairly easy to find what you are looking for. The pharmacy is always friendly, although make sure to check use by dates on any prescriptions you may order - i think their sometimes lack of dispersal means the drugs often run out quite soon after you have them.

The pharmacy also doesn't seem to be very well stocked and I have had to wait a couple of days for my medicine in the past, even with a repeat prescription.

So the places isn't as nice as Waitrose (which I happen to personally really like) but it gets the job done and it has so much more selection then the one in my town! I just bough so much food there. They have a larger selection of veg, sauces, spirts, foods from around the world and the prices are much cheaper then they are in St. Andrews. Heck there is even a clothing part of the store... I didn't know Tescos sold clothing! AHHH!! They have a good selection of Scottish beers in this store (I brought home 5 new ones to try! VERY EXCITING) though I was a little disappointed that they didn't have any Paulner. They also had the supper large tub of Marmite that they don't sell at the Tescos in St. Andrews and I was in HEAVEN!!! MARMITE HOW I LOVE THEE LET ME COUNT THE WAYS! I even found some soba (one of my favourite things to order when I am at a Japanese restaurant in SF). ***AND EVERYTHING WAS SOO MUCH CHEAPER*** Screw the St. Andrews Tescos, what a freaking conspiracy. It's HUGE and features a great selection of money-saving deals. A student's heaven. It also features a home section, a clothes section and even an electrical section. You'll be able to get almost everything you need. There's a large carpark for parking however, it's not that far should you decide to walk.
