Advice on contact lenses, eye care, spectacles as well as sports eyewear are given by staff. I have been given useful advice by staff at Stokes Opticians and their advice is worth listening to. They are all brilliant in all aspects, their role, their approach, their listening, understanding and their response to the issues in finding best ways to address them. They are not judgemental nor bias. I fully appreciate their time, her hard work and effort. Although it is their job, they truly take that extra mile (goes above and beyond) to ensure that they provide efficient advice and service. And I cannot thank them enough. It is very rare to find one that is very dedicated, who listens and understands. And is willing to do a job to the best of their ability. I greatly value their role and hardwork. And I greatly thank them all. Well recommended specsavers in Birmingham.

The staff take the extra time to order in a great selection of frames - from designers worn by Beyoncé to affordable but chic and unique shapes. I walk by here all the time going to the coffee shop next door and when my annual eye appointment was due, decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did. Booking an appointment is really simple. The optometrist I saw was really thorough, great at informing me about my eyes and tests conducted, and took the time to listen and answer all of my questions without rushing. I've recently had some optical migraines and she was great at making recommendations for proper eye care and next steps. I ordered a sixth month supply of contacts and a new set of glasses. The staff made sure to calculate all my options for discounts to ensure I got the best price on contacts. When picking up my contacts I also wanted to try on frames. The staff member assisted me around the shop. He has a great eye for fashion and was able to pick out perfect frame shapes and colors that suited my style. He was never pushy and even recommended a cheaper frame since I don't wear glasses every day. They are all about building great relationships and providing excellent customer service - not just making a sale. I really like that. If you're looking for an optician with excellent customer care and a wide selection of beautiful frames, give Piccadilly a visit.

I love wearing glasses and if I could afford a pair for everyday of the week then I would have a wardrobe just for them. Piccadilly has a great range of designers which also means the frames alone are on the expensive end of the spectrum before you even add the cost of your lenses. What you have to remember though is that this is something you will wear everyday for at least two years till your next eye test and so you want them to look good. I always find it really hard choosing a new pair of glasses and visit lots of opticians to check out the ranges and snap myself in a host of frames to help with my decision making. If you are looking for a distinct, quality frame then you can't fail to find one in here, it just might take you a while to decide which pair.

Initially there was no-one at the reception desk, so the wait began. Eventually an assistant said 'Someone will be with you shortly' After an hour of being ignored I was given a cursory quick-fire 3-minute test and told to buy new glasses because 'the left eye has changed'. My question 'How much has it changed?' was just ignored with more pressure to buy new glasses. There was no discussion of the test results nor eye health. New glasses were then selected from those on show but there was a further long wait until someone deigned to process the order. They were unable to give me the mandatory copy of the prescription because 'The optometrist has gone home without signing it' It was 5.30pm before I could get away. .
