The branch is tiny and, although there is disabled access, once in store you're going to have difficulty moving around at all but the quietest of times. There doesn't seem to be much logic to the way the branch is set out and shelves near to the post office counters can be quite hard to access if there is a queue for the post office. Chemist staff and pharmacists are very friendly and will advise the appropriateness of the products. They seem to show a genuine interest in their customers. For such a small branch I've not had any issues with them not stocking what I want and have been amazed at times to see the range of extras that are kept. The pharmacy offers a prescription collection service. I would recommend this pharmacy both for pure medical needs and also for the little extras that pharmacies do so well. They will carry special offers from time to time on things like suncreams, shampoos and the like and they compete with the likes of Boots on these items. For me, I'd rather use the local pharmacy and ensure its survival! Recommended

It did not matter, he would not sell, and when I explained it was urgent, he angrily said there were 30,000+ living in his Village that 'might' need it.. He had a shelf full, and, I said, "One box", please.. Humanity is not supposed to work this way.. Drove to another area, and, with a massive smile, sold me a box, saying we'll get more next week.. My family are moving to Datchet in May, and we will never frequent this Pharmacy.. He could not think outside the box, and just accommodate me..

Jays Pharmacy is an absolute godsend as they're open longer than a lot of others and seem to have…read morepretty much every medicine in stock (unlike a larger pharmacy in Staines which shall remain nameless) so I've never had to wait for something to be ordered in. I've never had to wait long for a prescription to be made up and you can amuse yourself by looking round the shop while you wait. There are loads of weird and wonderful items in stock and there are always bargains to be had. I always come home with something other than the prescription I went in for - examples are a mini fan for a £1 in the summer and a webcam kit for £4.99 more recently. Advice is available from the pharmacist if you want it and they always make sure to check properly who you are before giving you the drugs (again unlike another pharmacy I could name).

Their selection is very good, too, not much choice of brands, but you can get at least one example of everything you'd expect to find at a chemist. This place saved me a couple of times by having products I couldn't find elsewhere. Parking is usually okay, except when the surgery next door is super busy.
