A decent Boots location, located inside Burnley's Charterwalk, while the store was cluttered in some areas making an unpleasurable shopping experience due to warehouse cages left unattended blocking parts of the store, they did have a decent selection overall including some nice gift-sets, leftover from Christmas as part of their brand-wide 50% off sale. The staff were nowhere to be seen on the shop-floor. They did have a decent range of essentials, some were reasonably priced. The Pharmacy is always open when the store is open which is handy, although it is slightly limited closing at 17:30 daily, apart from Sunday where it closes at 16:30, this does seem typical in smaller UK towns. 3* - Not too bad, but I do prefer Superdrug nearby. read more

I love Boots in Burnely, sad really! I go in there at least once a week, it is easy to find what i am looking for, especially if I am rushing, there is generally good offers on a whole range of product and on hair care I generally buy what ever is on offer. they do some great electrical products and the staff always know about each item, i use no7 makeup and the girl in charge is really excellent, she will always advise and offer tips and you can book a make over if you fancy a new look. You get points for every pounds you spend with special events through out the year where you can double your points, I save them up and treat myself when I have enough. read more

Whilst it's not the biggest Boots store I've ventured into, the Burnley branch of Boots stocks an ample range of healthcare and toiletries. There is an Elizabeth Arden counter as well as their own brand of No & make up available and the run up to Christmas means a large portion of the store is taken over by Christmas gifts and nick nacks. Prices at Boots are average, although you can easily get the same products or similar for far less in Home Bargains but Boots does have the advantage of stocking all your everyday essentials. They also sell the fantastic meal deal although you have to be quick to get a look in. I decided to treat myself to a lunch yesterday only to find that at 1pm there were only 2 sandwiches available so you'll have to take an early lunch if you want to grab it from Boots. read more

Boots is brilliant. I come in here all the time because they always have different offers on there shampoo and conditioners! I never stick to one shampoo I always buy whichever one is on offer! The staff in here are very helpful and if you can't find something they will lead you too it. The perfume and aftershaves in here make great presents as you can either buy them individually or as a box set and they are very reasonable. Sometimes when you spend so much on a perfume you get a free lip gloss or purse! It can get busy in here sometimes but it dosen't stop me from coming in. read more

The boots shop in the centre of Burnley is not one of their larger shops. Inside they have a chemist, photo processing, parenting, the usual toiletries/make-up/perfume, meal deal section and opticians. They have two of the advantage card machines however I have found that often one is normally broken. The layout of the shop is easy to get round even with the pram. If you have lots of shopping to do, and you are finding it difficult to carry things the 5 members of staff who are often milling round in the middle of the shop would rather chat and watch you struggle rather than help you out to the till. Even with my hands full, trying to manoeuvre the pram to the till they ignored me and didn't help when I dropped something. I try and avoid shopping here where possible due to the staff but now that mothercare has closed down there are not many choices left in Burnley. read more

visited boots in burnley today, it was not a pleasant visit, my wife wanted to buy some no7 makeup, my wife is wheelchair bound, so asked for help, and was told that the person who deals with the department was on a break, so she asked the lady on the checkout if she could help, and was told that she would when the queue had ended but my wife had been sat there already for some time, so basicly got ignored. needless to say we left the store. very disgusted with the experience. we went to m&s store a lady there helped my wife get the makeup that she required, we will not be visiting boots in burnley again read more
