Upstairs it has all the normal things such as hair and body products, a pharmacy and prescription service a huge make up section with all the major brands there and some of the more expensive ones too. It also has a couple of the all important Boots Advantage card machines. Down an escalator is a huge down stairs with all the baby products and photography related things including developing your photos service. All in all its a good shop and nicely laid out however I have received rude service quite a lot in here, even from managers. The only drawback.

Overall the pharmacist and the sales assistants have always been friendly. The waiting time is very short as there's hardly ever many people in. They also sell lots of other things such as toiletries, baby items and cosmetics. Good experience from me!

They offer a range of cosmetics and toiletries and also stock a small selection of sweets as well as shampoo and other buy over the counter products. The prices are about standard compared to other chemists and obviously the prices of prescriptions is going to be the same wherever you go the personal touch you seem to get with these makes this my number one choice chemist in South Shields.

Unlike some Boots stores local to me which are cramped and overcrowded, this Boots has a great spacious layout and it's easy to find what you're looking for. Boots always used to be an expensive store, but nowadays I find that they often have great competitive deals on the product that I use. On top of this, their loyalty card means that you get approximately 4p (4 points) back for every pound you spend, as well as being mailed coupons where you can get bonus points. Recently there have been a few good points deals such as getting 500 (£5) worth of points when you spend over £50 in one transactions. Their 3 for 2 deals make good great xmas presents too!

I have never had to wait long for a prescription and they always seem to have the necessary drugs needed there and then,which can't be said for some chemists.
