I found the staff freindly and helpful. The range of products is good and the waiting time to be served is usually very good.

Also if you need to get essentials but can purchase cheaper elsewhere on the moor. This store has in the past been fairly good for reductions on some lines but this is not a regular thing. There is a chemist section so can get prescriptions from this branch if it is easier to get to then the other one on fargate. It still has the same offers on as other boots if it stocks the products. The staff are very friendly and helpful in this branch.

I always have to visit Boots when I'm back in the UK to stock up on all my favorites. They've got everything from a pharmacy and snacks to makeup and perfume and so much more. This location has the most lovely employees. Shopping and stocking up was a breeze. Moved through the shop with ease and flow. Love this York location.

As well as the Pharmacy that you find in every Boots store, there is also an Optician and Hearing Care facility. Prices are competitive, other than the food/drink section, which I always find to be rather expensive at Boots compared to rival chains, as they rarely seem to have any offers in that section, combined with higher prices before promotional offers even come into play too. The selection is reasonable, the staff were friendly enough and this is a good Boots location overall that I would return to on future visits to York. 4*

The store appeared to be fairly presentable, it appears to have had a slight refurb to fit into the refurbished part of Leeds Station very well. Prices were a little high on the to-go food and drink, selection and pricing is better at other outlets inside the station including WHSmith and Sainsbury's. The staff seemed friendly enough. 4* - The store is good, mainly for convenience and the midnight pharmacy.

Superdrug at Meadowhall is a satisfactory size store of the large chain, mainly specialising in…read morehealth and beauty products. I called in Superdrug while shopping in the large Meadowhall Shopping centre to pick up some drinks, Superdrug often has a decent selection of drinks which are regularly on an offer of two for £2, which is a good price. The overall selection of drinks here was decent, although it didn't appear to be as good as other Superdrug branches such as Manchester - Piccadilly Gardens, it still was a decent selection, and better than other branches of Superdrug such as Blackpool and Preston. The service seemed a little slow to be served which was a shame, the staff overall seemed OK, some did appear to be more friendly and eager to help than others, I had conversations with around two or three staff members overall on my short visit. This store is OK/decent yet due to certain issues such as the queuing area not being as well managed and spaced out and possible, and all staff membera appearing not to give 110%, I feel this store deserves a rating of two-stars at best.

The store is pretty small by Superdrug standards, and feels like a branch in a small town rather than a big city and that is shown as such in the selection which was basic, and included no beverage section - the first time I've never seen a drinks fridge at a Superdrug. Another one of those stores where the staff just seemed to get in the way rather than being friendly/helpful too. This isn't an average branch of Superdrug, from selection to service it's like a totally different brand and perhaps even worse than their branch at Sheffield Station, which is also pretty bad. 1*

Naseem's is the only surviving independent in Rothwell and seems to be holding it's own against the much bigger chain pharmacy around the corner. In my opinion Naseem's is surviving because it is still a place where you can find those odd elusive items that everyone needs but no one can find, they also have a nice selection of the kinds of sweets you only ever see in a chemist shop, things like colts foot rock and imps.. Of course the big plus here is the personal and friendly service and the willingness to go that extra mile to help a customer out. I have sometimes found the counter service a little slow but that is more than made up for by the smiles.
