This dental practice (Toothworks, Richard Grant and Partners) has opted out of the NHS except for a…read morelimited number of patients, eg children and pregnant women. Other patients pay private charges or join a dental insurance plan. Reception staff, hygienists and the dentist I usually see are friendly, professional and reassuring. Very good with children, speedily filled a cavity in my daughter's tooth almost without her noticing. You can get seen quickly by a dentist if it's an emergency but the hygienists are always booked up well in advance.

The staff were very welcoming they introduced themselves and provided information when needed. The dentist Dr Smith was extremely friendly and explained all my treatment and costs before starting treatment. It was then my decision wether to go ahead with the treatment, they even took into account my financial circumstances and arranged appointments convenient to my economic circumstances. I won't leave it another four years, I was very pleased with the service provided.

The staff are all friendly and all go above the call of duty to help you no matter what it is, as long as its not unreasonable. The house is a 10 minute drive from North Berwick where along the way you can see the rest of the grounds owned by Lord Hew such as Bass rock and the farm lands. Leuchie house is set in several acres of land all of which has been in the family for over 500 years, the history alone is worth the visit. Leuchie is not just for people with multiple sclerosis but also for family and people with other disabilities. Well worth the holiday for some peace and tranquility with some fun thrown in.
