I showed the stylist exactly what color I wanted, and they confidently said they could achieve it, but the final result looked completely different from what was promised. Not only did my hair turn out nothing like the reference photo, but the color is barely visible and looks uneven and dull. What makes this even worse is the lack of honesty and professionalism. At no point was I told that the result might be different or that my hair could not achieve the color I requested. Instead, I paid a very high price expecting professional results and left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and honestly upset. I also wasted hours of my time for something I never asked for. A professional salon should communicate clearly, manage expectations, and stand behind their work. Unfortunately, this place did none of that. I would not recommend this salon to anyone looking for reliable color services.

There's a comedic song out there about don't let a stranger cut your hair, and I find that there is definitely some truth in that. It's a nerve wracking experience to sit in a new person's chair. That said, I built up my confidence and decided to check out a salon that was within walking distance of my new home. It's a cute little salon on the third floor of a building on Mill Street, and it was a little warm climbing those stairs in the heat of the early summer. But that is my only complaint. Jen cut my hair, and she was nice, friendly, and definitely competent with the shears and comb. She listened to what I wanted and was able to provide exactly as requested. There was no pressure to buy product or invest in higher end services. Since I henna my hair, I was a little concerned that they'd try to push for chemical product instead, but there wasn't any of that. I was in and out of the salon in under an hour and I had referral cards in my purse to hand out to my friends. I gave one to my bestie, and she used it for her daughter, so I know the next time I go back, I'll have $25 off my next service. With their reasonable prices, I'll have a $25 haircut next time. That's just icing on the cake.
