What they have is a standard open MRI turned vertical on its side. But you still lay down in it to get an MRI. That is not an upright MRI. Full stop. I drove 2.5 hours each way to use an Upright MRI because of debilitating injuries that prevent me from lying flat -- which is the entire point of an upright MRI. My first trip was wasted because their call center sent me to the wrong location at the Gate Parkway office. Their staff apologized, and promised THIS location had a true upright MRI, and rebooked me. **See my review of their Gate Parkway location. I drove another 5 hour round-trip only to walk into the MRI room at this location, which they refer to as the Mandarin location, and immediately saw an open MRI machine turned on it's side. IT REQUIRED ME TO LAY DOWN. THIS IS NOT WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN IN AN UPRIGHT MRI. I lasted less than 10 minutes before the pain forced me to stop. Two full days. 460 miles. Zero usable images. And now I've burned MRI authorizations with my insurance company chasing a machine Precision Imaging doesn't actually have because of misleading advertising. If you're in pain and need a true upright MRI, don't book here. If you do so you'll waste your time, money, and your insurance benefits. I've always strived to be the one to pave the path for others... but this isn't one I'd ever wanted to tackle. I was petrified upon hearing my diagnosis... invasive ductal carcinoma, among other foreign terminology... radiologist, core needle biopsy, mastectomy, estrogen & progesterone receptor, lumpectomy, tamoxifen.... Among countless others! Upon referral to The Hill Breast Center, several things became simpler to discern and choose the most viable option for myself. The staff that I've been assigned have been very gracious, supportive, helpful, understanding, knowledgeable, and informative medical professionals I've had the pleasure to encounter. From the lobby staff to the scrub techs, to the radiographers and all the way to the surgical team... everyone has been amazingly sincere with their every intention! I cannot say enough about the professionalism and dedication to excellence The Hill Breast Center employees have graced me with! They always answer all my questions in "Layman's Terms". Check in and preregistration process with Cynthia was quick and easy. She was very knowledgeable reviewing my insurance on file. 3D mammography in the Women's Imaging Dept done by Marcia. I appreciated her high level of care and attention to detail was outstanding! She was very thorough and you can tell she takes great pride in her career. She not only explained the entire process of what my visit was going to entail, but also showed empathy, knowledge and passion for the imaging industry. I am always impressed with her top notch service and compassion! I also appreciated that the radiologist reviewed my images while I was waiting and was given my results right away.... Win-Win!! ACR BI-RADS Category 1: Negative/No suspicious findings. The health care team always does a fabulous job following CDC guidelines. There are sanitation stations and the waiting area is immaculately clean. Over the past decade or so, I have been here more times than I can count. Every experience has been…read morea positive one! I've had ultrasounds, MRIs, CTs, mammograms, and an upper GI. All of my appointments have been in the afternoon, and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes. They stay on schedule and on time. The people downstairs who check you in have always been friendly and all smiles. They make me feel very comfortable. Every tech for every procedure has been professional while still being friendly at the same time. Again, I've always been made to feel very comfortable. The techs are very knowledgeable and explain everything they are doing. They are more than willing to answer any and all questions you may have. My most recent visit was just last week for an MRI. My doctor originally wrote my orders to go somewhere else, but I asked him to please rewrite the orders for Baptist Imaging and he gladly did so. I just can't see myself going anywhere other than here for any type of diagnostic imaging unless I have a doctor who absolutely insists I go somewhere else. In addition to the entire staff here being nothing less than wonderful, it's very clean with a welcoming environment and nice decor.

The front staff and techs all have taken care of me like no other. Kayla, Emily (both Emily's), and Lisa are all so friendly, warm, understanding and always puts the patients first. The facility is always super clean, modern, and upon walking in, I feel at ease. I always get super anxious doing my MRIs and everyone here makes you feel so comfortable and always attend to all of your needs. I feel super happy every time I leave the facility. My appointments are always on time. If you miss your appointment or late, they try their best to work with you and your schedule. Sometimes, there might be a wait (mostly my fault for being tardy lol) but it doesn't bother me at all. I understand as I've been to many appointments to treat my tumefactive multiple sclerosis, that sometimes especially in medical settings, the doctor, tech, nurse, etc. can run behind due to treating another patient, other issues, etc. And that's okay, it happens and you roll with it. At the end of the day, you want a facility that genuinely cares about you and here, they do. Speaking for myself but I've never had a problem with them answering the phones or receiving my reports. They've always came in pretty quick and all I need to do is send them an email to request them or pick up a CD. I plan to come here for as along as they have me! Emily was rude and unprofessiona, she didn't walk me thru the proces, I was in pain my heart was palpitating and when it was all done she drag the sheet off of me and said you are done you can leave. wow!! I was in total shock of her attitude towards me. This is the first I have been there, and I hope is my last. I told her you need to show sympathy towards your patient. She just didn't care. I hate to use the black card, maybe she has a problem with black people. the only thing i know is that I never want to go back to that place again never.
