This small restaurant has been serving up the best Thai food in the area for years now. Every time we eat here, it's hard to choose what to have, as everything always impresses. The staff are absolutely charming, and remember you even if you haven't been in for a year. Great for groups, (book ahead) and accommodating parties of up to 15 or 20 easily despite the size of the place, they manage to keep the orders arrival at the table pretty in sync. You can BYO wine, or purchase your drinks from the fridge. There is a small selection of beer available by the bottle. We tend to go for the Green or Red Curry, and it's the best I've ever had. Big enough to share if you add rice and bread, it allows you to also test the entrees, also of a very high standard. If this place was in the city I could guarantee it'd be flat chat every night, and given its location and competition from other Thai and Indian restaurants, it still manages to be quite busy every night of the week. read more
Well that was a nice surprise, first time I've been here and treated like a king. The red wine was not bad at all, the roti was nice and I really enjoyed the chicken pad see ew. I will certainly be back to try some more dishes in the future, next time I might bring my own bottle of wine as its BYO wine only. The decor and dark colour scheme give the place a cosy charm and I could hear everything the girls said three tables away from me which makes dining alone more entertaining, but not that loud so it wasn't annoying.
