Trees aren't super close together, so it doesn't quite have a cooling effect or allow much space to hang out underneath. There's a basketball hoop with pretty janky concrete but at least it's there. The volleyball area has sand, and is pretty nice. There's a children's play area and water play area. Definitely meant more for families with children but you can always find space to set up for a picnic here. I had a nice time here but it'a nothing special as far as parks go. Just one of the better options in McAllen.

Amazing dance academy for kids, not only are they great at teaching professional ballet and other…read moredance styles but they also compete with great success and have yearly workshops and camps to NYC. The location is great, so far the best facility we have seen in the McAllen and Mission Area. I would really recommend this dance school to anyone thinking into seriously having his or her kids at the best dance academy in South Texas. We love it, the teachers are really professional and with proved experience. The tuition is not bad at all, go check them out.

The energy, positivity and genuine care the instructors have for their students is amazing! The Power Yoga at 5:30 PM with Sylvia left me feeling like I had gone through a much needed massage and the Recharge Yoga at 5:15 AM with Megan was so relaxing and soothing. I highly suggest this place...$10 for your first session and if you don't have a mat, you can borrow one for free! Oh and super cool to get to sample some aromatherapy oil to enhance your breathing during the sessions!
