The pickleball side to side movement exacerbated the pain in the front of my feet because my feet were not aligned. I opted to have the small titanium screw inserted just under my ankles on both feet to re-align the bones in my feet so that the pain will go away and I can be active again. The surgery was the most non-invasive procedure I could imagine. I can already tell I am carrying my weight on the outside of my foot instead of the middle to inside. Choosing Dr. Weinert was not done lightly. I sought him out specifically to care for my feet not just for his glowing reputation, but for the most important one to me. My mother who was a type 2 diabetic for over 40 years constantly raved about the services she received from Dr. Weinert. Imagine my surprise when I also found out that he was treating her at NO COST when her insurance changed and didn't cover the services.....this went on for YEARS. We lost my mom in 2018, and when I came in for my consult, Dr. Weinert and Donna spent so much time talking about memories of my mom and how much they loved her.
