Wow! I brought my 4-year-old in today for an ingrown toenail and I could not be more pleased with our experience. They scheduled us quickly when I called yesterday, worried it was infected (it was) and they were flexible in scheduling around a series of doctor appointments I already had scheduled. The medical forms they had me fill out weren't overly cumbersome like they are at most offices. They took us right at the appointment time and each person we met was friendlier than the last - they were all so kind to my child and made her feel special and welcomed instead of afraid. The doctor came in right away and boy was he wonderful! He is so kind and gentle and patient. He didn't use any scary words in front of her, but made sure I understood everything he was going to do. We were done with the entire appointment, start to finish, in under twenty minutes, but never felt rushed. It felt like my child was the only patient they would see that day and she was their priority - very few doctors make you feel that way these days. And usually you have to be in a pediatrician's office or in the pediatric wing of a hospital to find medical professionals who know how to treat a child in such a respectful and age-appropriate way, but not here - this office knows what they're doing! Hopefully, our foot and toe issues are over, but if we ever have problems in the future, I know where we are going! read more

It's sort of funny to me to tell people that I went to the Podiatrist. I feel like I have to say it in an old lady tone. I've never been to a Foot Doctor or Podiatrist, whichever you prefer to say. I was having some issues that I couldn't ignore. I've had my fair share of bad shoes. I don't really wear heels, especially since I work on my feet. Recently, I had a bad experience with running shoe fitting. The store fit me improperly and the shoe was too big. I was experiencing a lot of burning in the balls of my feet and some swelling. I tried to focus on better shoes, but it wasn't doing a lot for me. So, I went to Dr. Schram. It's a pretty simple office. Staff was very nice. I really liked Dr. Schram. They took x-rays and the diagnosis was simple. Basically, the metatarsals have been rubbing together at the balls of my feet .This was causing my pain and the burning sensation was due to movement in the shoe when I walked. After using a roller and being more aware of the cause, I started to get relief. It's not 100% better because there's nothing I can do about the structure of my feet. Dr. Schram recommended inserts as well. He explained the challenge with my arches (high when I'm not standing, close to flat when standing) and how it contributes to the pain. So, understanding these issues that seem somewhat simple has really helped me. You gotta take care of your feet! read more

Dr. Schwalb is a completely dedicated doctor. I have been in 3 separate times for ingrown toenail surgery. He opened up his office on a Saturday to accommodate our schedule. I fly all the way from Colorado to get my procedures done by him! His procedures are permanent and I never have to worry about my toenails growing back badly! The staff is completely rude! The front desk receptionist (Maxine). I called to make an appointment for the following week for my results and my treatment and she disregarded everything I said and she wouldn't allow me to make an appointment with NO GOOD REASON. So three days later the Medical Assistant called me with my MRI results, she had NO clue how to read the results nor pronounce them. I had to tell her what it was. She told me she'd call me back in 10 minutes, she didn't. 3 days later I called and the rude receptionist, MAXINE stated the clueless Dr. Schram mailed me the results because I was the rude one. Okay, yeah right! The doctor didn't look at my foot he just came in with a diagnosis and said here's a brace. I told him I am having "these issues" he said okay. That was it. I have to find another doctor to treat me. I'm glad I don't have to deal with the rude staff now though! read more

I was looking for a podiatrist for my mother and I found Dr. Hoffman on yelp. I am so glad I did. Dr. Hoffman was kind and attentive when seeing myself and my mother. Not only was he able to relieve the pain that my mother was in, he also gave us valuable advice regarding the management of her condition. He went above and beyond. He followed up with me the day after my mother's appointment regarding some test results, and made sure everything was done in a timely manner. He was very patient and attentive, and made me feel like my mother was taken care of. I also want to mention that the office was amazing, I want to extend my thanks to Mary who was extremely understanding and helped me to make an appointment in a timely manner. I chose this office from three other podiatrists I had found online based on how kind Mary was. I figured that if you hired such a caring and thoughtful receptionist you must also approach your patients with the same manners. Overall, I was very happy with my experience and would recommend Dr. Hoffman and his office to anyone who needs a podiatrist. read more
