I visited BOS window tinting after looking around town a bit and not being impressed. I had Audi tint a damaged window and whoever does the work should quit. The tinting film was not even laid up to the exposed leading edge of the window. SO when I drive around I have light leaks, I looked at another shop but after speaking to them they said a guy from Billings comes out to do it for them about once a month. Finally found BOS and called them up, the young lady was very friendly in setting up the appointment. They got me in that week and the turn around time was great, price was fair too! Walked down the road, had some lunch and came back to see our truck waiting for us. After getting everything settled we were very pleased, EXCELLENT JOB. The attention to detail was perfect, nicely laid, quick turn around and fair price. I couldn't ask for anything else and will be taking anything I need tinted in to these guys. I forgot to mention they placed a handy little sticker by the window controls to remind you not to roll down the windows for a couple days, nice touch. Sometimes in Bozeman great customer service is hard to find, give these guys a try this is what Montana is really like. Oh they also do stereo stuff here, but that's not really my things, they did have some nice looking stuff in the shop though. read more

I felt the pricing was very fair, and one thing that was very obvious is that they take pride in their work and are experts in their field. They broke My convertible top on my car, it worked perfectly fine until I dropped it off to have my windows tinted, they said they couldn't get it completely closed and had to take back seats out to release the top, when doing so they broke a bunch of the plastic molding didn't bother telling me. Tried to put down the convertible top down and will not work. Called and pointed out all the issues from getting it back. I was told they didn't break anything but would chat with husband and get back to me....I have not heard a word from them. I was looking to get a new stereo in my work truck and wanted it to have a back-up camera to help with hitching trailer. I had visited a different stereo install store and thought we had a plan for a relatively basic system. Again. . . a WORK truck. I went back a few weeks later to lock in and many of the components I had agreed to were sold out. As a result, the salesman tried to get me to upgrade almost every piece of equipment; I didn't get the impression he really knew what he was talking about. Very obvious he was just the salesman and not an installer. Frustrated, I walked into Bos and talked with Levi. Took my 2009 Lexus in for an automatic starter and window tinting. They were professional and helpful and kept me informed on the process. They even delivered my car to me after it was finished. Only rated 4 stars because it was only done yesterday and I'm waiting to see if my tint cures correctly and my automatic start works (I haven't tried it yet beyond the demo they gave me when they delivered). I have known the owner of this business for over 10 years and my friends and myself have always had amazing work done by him. He will bend over backwards to do perfect job and if there is ever an issue, he will continue to do whatever it takes to make sure his work is topnotch and you are satisfied, which you will always be. I am only bummed I do not live in Bozeman anymore! He was my go to for all of my needs relating to my car and sound and with so many people out their who claim to know how to do tints or sounds, it was so nice to have a someone trustworthy and reliable I could always go to. So I had BOS take care of my tinting which they did a great job. I also.had them install a cd deck as well. To this point everything went well. I also had them install a keyless entry and remote start. They were very polite and gave me a good deal. Unfortunately the remote start continued to have issues. After each attempt to fix the issue it would work for about a week and then fail again causing another rescheduling and another attempt to resolve the system. After the 4th time it got to the point where I was okay continuing to give them the opportunity to fix the problem, but they decided to not continue anymore and refund my money for the system and install. I was okay with this option until it was mentioned that they need to focus on "new business" and made me feel like I didn't matter anymore to them as a customer. Well, needless to say after that I wasn't happy as 2 months had passed, now I had the money and not a working system. They did refund my money to me and we're okay with me leaving the system in place for my hassle . I had notified them of another company removing the system and I would return the parts to them so they wouldn't take a loss. At this point they were very rude in their tone which was via texts as my calls were never returned and explained they were the only ones to remove the system or no refund would be returned to me. So I again had to go out of my way for a 5th time to deal with this. The system was removed, the owners wife was very apologetic which I appreciated, but nothing from the owner which really.added to a negative experience with this business. I did rate this 3 stars as they did do a good job with the window tinting. Another local company did install a new keyless entry and remote start....it's been 3 weeks and I haven't had one issue with it. read more
