I was introduced to Black Pudding, an acquired taste for even the English- pigs blood and intestines mashed into a hockey puck. I have nothing to compare it to but a taste of it was good for me. It was crispy, soft like pudding and a bit sweet. I opted for the tuna panini which was terrific. I read it came with chips which I figured were fries but got actual potato chips which was fine I guess. Michael said his All Day Breakfast was spot on except for the sausage which he described as cheap or watery. The other lads said there's were fine and devoured it spite being hung over. Before breakfast I asked to walk past the gates to witness the sprawling fields. I was welcomed with a bit of apprehension and took a few photos as you may see. Apparently no one asks to go back into the farm. I breathed in the cool air and appreciated the beauty of the English horizon. I was met by the owner, Bill Williams, in a tractor who stopped me to have a bit of a chat. He is a funny man when he said the view was "alright" and there wasn't much to see. I learned the farm was 400 acres and how he had a kick travelling the California coast line several years ago. When I return to Chester I will be sure to come back and eat here and say hello.

The location is nice being next to Nando's and Wetherspoons in Centenary Square, albeit the location would have been far better in Bradford's new Broadway Mall. I originally thought this branch was heading for a one star review, as everything seemed to have started wrong like Martin Demichiles' career did when he signed for Manchester City. I ordered my drinks, the waitress seemed awkward and didnt seem to understand what I wanted with my drink, sadly there is no way of ordering on your phone at this branch, something that is slowly being rolled out in cities such as London, Birmingham and Manchester. I ordered a Gingerbread Latte with Gingerbread Cream, the woman confirmed to me it would contain the Gingerbread Cream, only to get my drink and hear they had run out. Very frustrating. My friend also complained that her coffee looked rather weird and not like what it normally looks or tastes liks. My friend also had a problem with his Almond Biscotti, which he found to taste hard, a woman came over who I presume to be the manager shared a joke about it. He also ordered a Full Breakfast Sandwich, which was quite expensive at £3.85. It was basically thrown in and out on the oven, so I doubt it was fully cooked and warm. He didn't seem to enjoy it and did complain it was of a worse quality than other branches such as Rochdale. Then everything turned around (When I turned around), the barista had actually made me another drink, without me even asking after she found the Gingerbread Cream, she also let me keep the old one, which I was partway through eating. This was an amazing gesture. The branch is quite nice inside with some cool decor, although it can be quite squashed when queing around the counter and with the very small selection of merch being around a table, hence almost impossible to grab. To conclude in one of the many reviews I have written on a bus, this is a decent store and it is a nice brand for Bradford to have, the manager seems to be friendly and identify the problem and put it right, which is why I feel this branch deserves a solid three star rating.

I love this place!…read more On a Saturday lunchtime it was heaving, though thankfully we were able to be seated straight away. Next to a blazing hot radiator. It was a fairly pleasant day in early September so I'm not convinced having the heating on full blast was totally necessary, and my sister kept accidentally catching her arm on it. That's not much of a complaint though, just an odd observation. I love the look and feel of the place, especially the drawings on the far wall. I mentioned to my sister that I thought it was affiliated with Federal in Manchester. She asked one of the staff who told her they're totally independent of each other but that the owner of Tamper helped the guys from Federal set up. This really shows in the decor, atmosphere and menu of both places. We each ordered a flat white. When they arrived they were lovely to look at, and delicious too. My sister ordered the Big Ozzie breakfast, and I ordered the smashed avocado on sourdough with poached eggs and halloumi. My dish was really beautifully presented. It came with a sweet chilli cucumber salsa, which is not necessarily something I would have chosen to go with the dish, but worked really well. My sister really enjoyed her breakfast as well. I tried a bit of the sausage patty and the hash brown and they were both delicious, really nicely seasoned. We didn't have any cake as we were fit to burst but there was a huge selection and everything looked lovely. I would definitely return and would recommend.
