Quickly cooked up and served and boy were they both delicious! I also didn't know it was a cash only establishment or debit card. Whom I presume was the owner was so sweet and again luckily our US credit card could be processed as debit. Saved me from having to do dish duty! Definitely a must do in Amsterdam but make a reservation and carry cash! Also to note, they only have 4 tables and if you're more than 5 minutes late for your reservation they may have given away your table!

Dutch pancakes are a cross between a crepe and a type of pizza almost and can have all manner of toppings. We ordered a few savory ones to try and then a sweet one to split. Delicious! I must admit to being so overjoyed at the flavors that I almost forgot to take photos. They were crispy and full of mouth watering veggies, but also covered in cheese. Yum! I would highly recommend this spot and trying out the Dutch pancakes.

We were seated outside and waited almost 10 minutes before anyone came by to take our order for food and drinks. We ordered the banana crepe to share and I got a coffee while my wife ordered the pear juice. The pair juice comes from a bottle. The coffee was served in a small cup and was ok. I am used to drinking it with cream and sweetener. But Europeans don't have these items, so I just drank it with sugar. I think we waited almost 30 minutes before our food came out. Now, we only ordered crepes with bananas inside. Usually at the mall, it takes a few minutes to make crepes. I don't know how it took almost 30 minutes for them to make 1 item. Mind you, the place was not full when we came, so I don't understand how long we had to wait for our server to order our food and why it took so long for them to make our food. He enjoyed the combination of baked salmon, greens and a béchamel sauce. I tried the vegetarian goat cheese and walnut with rucola, which was very good; although how you could mess up those ingredients is beyond my comprehensive capabilities. It all comes down to the actual pannekoek: the fat crêpe, which the Dutchies formed into their own version. It is the same size as the French one, but much fatter and made without baking soda as in the American pancakes, because it is colder in the Netherlands (and less interesting on a culinary create-your-own-food level). The pannekoek itself was fine, not over- or under-cooked, and a good tasting flour mix. There was ample free parking after you wind your way through a subdivision. Outside a wonderfully large play area for kids to enjoy themselves in the summer months. Recommend this restaurant to drive a bit out of your way.
