So far, he's helped us carefully demo plaster in our 100+ year-old home, honoring our request to preserve as much of the good plaster as possible. He also meticulously removed the vinyl siding to reveal the beautiful original cedar shake and lap siding underneath, which we can now restore. He's friendly, easy to work with, and makes thoughtful recommendations without ever making me feel pressured or steered toward something that isn't right for us or our budget. I came across Troy and his business The Right Hammer on Facebook and messaged to see if he'd be willing to take on the task, and on my less than optimal schedule. He responded quickly, and said that not only was he up for the task, but would be willing to work with my schedule and would be happy to come over on a Sunday morning without charging extra for working on a weekend. Upon his prompt arrival, Troy was pleasant and professional. He made short work of the faucet replacement, as well as taking on another task that I threw at him as a curve ball... removing an undersink water heater/dispenser.
