I had a couple different rolls and one of them was fairly bland. The chicken teriyaki wasn't that great either. The reason for my 2-star review is because the service was very lacking. They have one waitress servicing the entire restaurant and it's just impossible for her to keep up with all the guests. In addition, she is responsible for taking and prepping the carry-out orders. The food took quite a long time to come out and I wasn't asked for a drink refill one time. If you really want sushi when you're passing through Bonnyville, then you can stop here. The positives were that we were in/out in about an hour. The negatives were that much of our food had been prepared so far in advance that it was dry/cool. And many of us were overcharged (the "team menu" came with beverages in the set price yet I was charged for 2 pops that I was never served). A few people and their dishes missing altogether and had to wait 45+ minutes. I'd give them another try but I don't think I'd book a team event here again. I'll still give 3 stars as the staff were friendly, the food was decent, and we were in/out relatively quickly.

I ordered a regular beef donair, with tomatoes, lettuce and onions, accompanied with a donair sweet sauce. The vegetables were very fresh, the sliced donair meat (beef) was very tasty and so was the pita. The regular donair is the smallest, but even as the smallest, it is a very generous sized donair sandwich. I was so full and satisfied after being done!! The sweet sauce was also very delicious, and not overly sweet or garlicky. Buster's Pizza & Donair of Cold Lake, AB, is one of many franchises, so there is often one close by when you want delicious and excellent quality pizza and donairs.
