I came here since it was the only sushi restaurant around and I was on a business trip in Bonnyville with no other choices. The sushi was okay. I had a couple different rolls and one of them was fairly bland. The chicken teriyaki wasn't that great either. The reason for my 2-star review is because the service was very lacking. They have one waitress servicing the entire restaurant and it's just impossible for her to keep up with all the guests. In addition, she is responsible for taking and prepping the carry-out orders. The food took quite a long time to come out and I wasn't asked for a drink refill one time. If you really want sushi when you're passing through Bonnyville, then you can stop here. Always love my experience at Osaka! Their safe are generally friendly with one or two servers going above and beyond to connect with us. Living in Vancouver for 3 years, I have to say that this sushi was better than anything I had there. This is the only sushi place that we have here in Bonnyville, so this place is one of my regulars. I love their dragon rolls and udon dishes. The staffs are very friendly, they try to accommodate their every customer in the best way they can. Might be an average-joe sushi place compared to other sushi places in cities like Edmonton, but they do decent jobs in their cuisine for a small town restaurant and I am just grateful for it. read more

We don't have a lot of great sushi places in the Lakeland so it was a pleasant surprise to see one here in Bonnyville. The staff are pleasant and efficient As for the most important part the food. We had the Lemon Drop and Golden Tiger rolls. Both were excellent. My wife had the tuna and salmon sashimi which was also quite good. We'll definitely be back. Okay I love that I found this hidden gem in Bonnyville using the YELP app! As a bonus I got a free California roll just for checking in! Osaka Sushi rivals most of Edmonton's best sushi spots. The service was great. The portions of the rolls were huge and the taste was excellent! I can't wait till have to work in Bonnyville again. This will be my go to spot for food. Thanks Yelp!!! Went Opening night, and for being very busy they did great. A little slow but we were not in a hurry this food should be enjoyed. Food was awesome, can't wait to go again. So far Queen Elizabeth Rolls are my favorite. read more
