Rushed our ass's here to watch UFC only to have this dumb ass head waiter tune 14 TV's to Calgary Stampede and 2 to UFC. Food was only OK. Service was also slow, will never stop here again! Would not recommend this location to anybody!! Find another place to eat and watch the fights. read more

As with any Boston Pizza, the food is adequate but nothing to die for. This location is clean and the staff is friendly. Service is average, sometimes OK, sometimes not so much. Despite it being busy during suppertime, there never is a wait for tables. With that said, this is the best family restaurant in Sylvan. It's always a favourite with the kids. read more

Just like all the other Boston Pizza's I have been too. Same thing, sat in the lounge with my fiancé on Sunday night, only a few other tables were there. Food portions are good and lots of variety on the menu. Open late so that's great in Sylvan. read more

This will be the last time our family ever eats here. We waited over 30 minutes when we were told 15 minutes even though there were plenty of empty tables. While we were waiting another group decided to go down the road to Joey's which we wish we'd done after our experience here. We will certainly go there next time we go out to eat instead of Boston Pizza. We knew what we wanted when we sat down, so we ordered right away. The food took about 45 minutes to arrive which when you've got a five year old waiting is way too long. Our server was nice and seemed a bit embarrassed by how long it was taking. The pizza was pretty good which is the only reason they're getting 2 stars instead of one. When we went to pay, their debit/credit machines were down so we were all directed to the cash machine at the entrance where I got to pay an extra $2.00 service fee. The next time we choose to go out to eat in Sylvan Lake, it will not be here. read more

If you get here before 5:30, your experience will most likely be excellent. After that, most tables seem to be reserved for sports teams, ensuring a long wait, despite the many hostesses. Kitchen usually does pretty well. Nice fresh food. read more

This Boston Pizza has really speedy service, but the food is sub-par compared to other Boston Pizza's I've eaten at. It's one of the only places to dine at in Sylvan though so you might just have to stop by if you're in town for dinner. read more

One of the worst meals we've ever had... I know BP promotes that they don't cater to foodies, & I wasn't expecting anything more than a basic fill the void meal. It was the only restaurant around open after 9pm. I didn't think I'd go wrong with a basic burger -sadly the burger patty (supposedly prime rib) was grey & mealy - clearly from frozen . At home I often BBQ frozen Costco or Superstore patties, so I'm not opposed to frozen, esp. as I was hungry. I couldn't even eat the one at BP . On top of it the bacon was those pre-cooked ready-to-eat strips. My husband's Chipotle Penne was a mass of marble cheese, which would've been good (who doesn't like the comforts of Mac & cheese?) - except that the dish was drowned in what tasted like liquid smoke. Our nachos were ok, although must've sat up for awhile as they were slow to come & were only room temp when we got them. Even my coke was flat :( At least out server was nice. read more

1st visit - We walked in and seen a half empty restaurant. We were told it would be a 30 min wait for a table and when I asked why when the place is almost emplty they replied saying "the kitchen is understaffed and this way it wont feel like your sitting so long waiting for food" I then said "so we are just supposed to stand here and wait instead of sit and wait"? then as a guy was leaving after he had his dinner he said he had to wait 3 hours for his food so we decided just to leave. they could have at least seated us and allowed us to order drinks or something...anything but stand in the lobby. 2nd visit we were seated right away. we went to order our "usual" entres and my hubby changed his mind about something right after the waitress walked away and so i went to find her to advise her of the changes and she denied our request saying she had already put the order through. so not only did we not get what we really wanted but the portion sizes were WAY smaller than any other Bostone Pizza we had ever been to. This Boston Pizza does not even deserve 1 star. So disappointed that the place is understaffed and the staff they do have are unfriendly, uneducated, and say "i dont know" ALOT....i hate that when an employee says i dont know...they SHOULD know about their establishment and the food served. read more

Long, long wait for food then when it got there it was terrible. Ordered two steaks, both medium rare. Got two steaks well done and charred. The server (who was awesome!!) got us two more steaks which were blue rare. By this time it was 2 hours after ordering. Daughter ordered a burger - could not even bite the bun. Truly horrible. They have screwed up every single take out order. 9 chances I gave them. Dining in with my kids is adequate for service, but the kitchen often messes up. You order wings fried, crispy. Phoned Boston Pizza last night for take out. First impressions are everything and I have to say the girl who took our order was unpleasant to deal with. Abrupt and snotty and if it wasn't for the kids wanting pizza from there I would have hung up. Boston Pizza use to be known for its training and I have to say this lady must have missed hers or management isnt paying attention. It will be the very last time I deal with Boston Pizza here. We waited 10 minutes for them to get our menus and have a table in a relatively empty restaurant, waited 45 minutes for our order to be taken, and 75 minutes for our food! The food tasted old, like it sat out for a long time and the waitress seemed incompetent and extremely disorganized. Furthermore, the manager told my grandma that he discussed all this and what he would do about it with my mom, which he didn't.
