Took a day trip up to Dahlonega recently and while walking around, I started to crave some tea. To…read moremy surprise, there was a Spice & Tea Exchange just a few shops down from where I was standing! This little tea shop is incredible! It feels like you stepped back in time with the creaky hardwood floors and the rows and rows of glass jars filled with teas, herbs, and spices. My kind of place. You can purchase their proprietary spice blends, seasonings, and rubs as well as their loose-leaf teas and organic teas. They have 85 handcrafted seasonings that are hand-mixed in store daily. They also offer flavored sugars, sea salts, and other lines including infused honeys and artisan extra virgin olive oils. They seriously have it all, so it's a great gift shop if you're looking to buy something special for a loved one. They also offer fresh-brewed tea made to order, and let you choose any of their loose-leafs available in house. I think that's so cool to have the ability to pick your tea on the spot and have it made just for you. I chose the Super Citrus Mint Herbal Tea over ice with NO sugar or sweetener (I like it as natural as possible), and it was exactly what I was looking for. Incredibly refreshing and also great immune support. Excited to come back for more spices and tea!

This was our first time visiting Dahalonga. After we parked, this was the first store we walked…read moreinto. I love tea and was excited to see what they had inside. The lady at the front was extremely rude, not sure if she had a bad morning or what but we walked out and went on about our Dahlonega visit. I was very shocked and disappointed in her attitude, tone and behavior. I am still trying to figure out what happened for her to act that way, I was simply looking at a tea and asked a question followed by a comment on how I loved the smell. It was an odd interaction. Hopefully, they can talk to their employees on how to interact with customers better. We ended up having a fab time in Dahlonega and will be back but not to this store.

The refrigerated section various grab and go vegan meals freshly brewed teas by the gallon amongst other treats. We selected a jar of prepared Irish Sea moss which is a collection of minerals that's a delight for your mind body and soul. Let's get back to the tea. The T-bar boasted over 15 specialty teas centered around health and wellness concerns. The tea masters also had combinations at the ready depending on your mood health needs and overall if you just want something that taste good and a need to feel mellow. Some tea combinations included CBD. My tea never turns out this good at home not even close. The tea bar comes with a strong recommendation, especially for those who are looking to experience something new with excellent service and amazing tea combinations. In addition, enjoy a warm social interaction that ignites a good start for those on the sober curious journey around the city.

I wish I had discovered this place sooner. I absolutely love the concept of a tea bar, and this is…read morecoming from someone who's been an avid coffee drinker since 13 years old. The owner was really sweet, and the decor and overall vibe were very calming. The menu is super dope, I love the names of all the teas, and how they break down the benefits. I happened to not be having the best day, so I ordered the "Chill Pill", which caters to mood management and anxiety. It definitely lowered my levels significantly. They had a nice cozy couch for us to lounge on, they have good seating options, but I'd come with no more than 3-4 people at a time. While we ordered our tea in to-go cups, you also have the option of ordering a teapot (while dining in ofcourse), or they sell the tea bags in bulk to purchase. I am so grateful that this place is so close to my job, because best believe I will be back :)

Rich chocolate with choke fulls of pistachios, hella crispy kadayıf that generate curiosities from other dept. cubicles (bring ya plates). Strong Turkish coffee that foretells you how the day will go, provided on the house on a missed order registry, was another gesture itself verifying the welcomes you'd receive from the most courageous people on this planet. I finally checked out Wowbooza during my several visits around this location. It's one of those…read moreplaces that feels like dessert with a personality. The big draw here is their booza (a stretchy Turkish/Middle-Eastern ice cream), and it really does live up to the hype - chewy, creamy, and not overly sweet, which makes it dangerously easy to keep going back for another bite. We have tried the Kunafa with ice cream, and that combo of warm, crispy pastry and cold, silky booza is honestly the star of the show. Kunafa for those who don't know is shredded phyllo dough which is layered with cheese and baked to give it that crispy texture yet having the stretchy pull from the cheese. The combination of this savory Kunafa with the booza really makes it a delectable combo. The Turkish + Dubai chocolate Kunafa (half and half) has been my favorite but they have a few options to try. They also server Dubai chocolate and strawberry cups, which seem to be extremely popular too. We've tried their chai (tea) and Turkish coffee and all I can say is that I am hooked. The vibe is lively and a little crowded at peak times, but in a good way - it feels like everyone is there for the same sugar fix. Staff was friendly and happy to explain the menu, which helps if you're new to these kinds of desserts. Service can vary depending on how busy it is, but overall it's worth the stop. If you go in expecting something different from your usual ice cream shop, you'll probably leave impressed (and slightly obsessed with that stretchy texture).
