However they do sell Jamaican beef patties, chicken patties, and vegetable patties daily. I had the pleasure of enjoying a small oxtail plate which came with peas n' rice, cabbage and plantains for about $25 after tax. A large was basically $5 more and I believe the owner said it included two or three more pieces of oxtail. I like that they include butter beans in their recipe because many Jamaican restaurants do not. [ FINAL THOUGHTS ] As with most places that sell oxtails these days, I don't think you get enough meat for your money. Most of the weight comes from the large quantities of rice and the bone of the oxtail itself. Pound for pound you are getting very little meat for your money. But if your main concern is flavor, you won't be disappointed here. * Please note not all meats are available on days they sell hot foods. The food is out about 5 minutes later. It is always boiling hot. While I like the food, it is not very spicy or flavorful. This is fine with me, but occasionally I like a bit more flavor. The Phở Tái is my go to menu item and one of my favorites in Metro Atlanta while my wife loves the Phở Rau Cải (veggie pho) with beef broth instead of chicken broth. The broth is a little sweeter than most places, but I think that's what I love about it. The Crispy Fried Duck and the Moo Grob Pad Ped (Pork Belly) are also excellent. The Panang Chicken or Shrimp Curry is another favorite of mine and the Pork Chop plate is very filling. My wife tends to get the veggie stir fry with tofu as well as the veggie spring rolls. But if you are looking for something packed with exceptional flavor, the minced pork GRA POW is a must try! The cashier, who also happens to be the only server, is also the chef/owners wife. Great people! They have treated me like family since my very first visit. She is extremely hospitable and very personable. Whenever my mother is in town she LOVE coming here simply to see her and enjoy their food. I get a huge greeting every time I walk in the door and she always asks how my mom and wife are doing when I'm by myself. I truly feel like an honored guest whenever I dine here. Chilled noodles hit a little different if you're not used to them. I would prefer them warmed but also didn't mind. But if you want a warm base, thy have grains you can choose from. The sauces are needed to tie the bowl together. Overall, I really loved the food. Some of my friends would say the bowl I made tasted "healthy" lol. And they wouldn't be wrong, but that's the point! Amazing customer service! I loved that he explained how it worked. And it's the small things for me - a simple suggestion to get the fountain drink version of the can since I was dining it. I snagged it & a wonderful smelling (and beautifully canned) Butterfly Blossoms scented candle that was waiting for me in the ALDI finds section of the store.
