I've been a regular customer at Botera and spend a fair amount here each month. While the staff has generally been pleasant, I've had ongoing issues with the quality of cartridges and disposable vapes. More often than not, they clog or leak, and I recently purchased a disposable that would not charge or hit at all. When I brought this to the store's attention, I was told that since I hadn't returned it within 7 days, nothing could be done. While I understand policies are in place, I was hoping for a bit more flexibility in resolving a defective product issue. Unfortunately, that experience left me disappointed. It felt like customer service was secondary to policy, which is discouraging for someone who shops here regularly. For $25, Botera could have chosen customer service over policy, which would have gone much further in building trust and loyalty. This has been a frustrating experience that has me reconsidering where I shop, and unfortunately I don't think I will be back. read more

I have cancer and kidney disease and it's the only weeds that help the nausea after treatment! Absolutely my favorite dispensary in Massachusetts! Even though we live closer to a different dispensary, we always choose to go to Botera (which is less than 2 mi away from our house). You always get a higher quality cannabis product here , the atmosphere is professional & clean, it's not a loud place, and you can't beat their customer service staff members! Growing up in the '70s and '80s, going to college in the late 80s and early nineties, before cannabis was legal in some states, I had no idea there was a difference between marijuana plants, I didn't know most of the terminology used, and we usually ended up buying it from some shady character living in a trailer park without Street lamps tucked into the woods, LOL. I'm 55 years old and, I usually have quite a few questions so that I can make sure I'm consuming it correctly. The staff members here have never, and I mean never, given me an attitude about my taking up their time, which is rare in any retail store where you may have to ask questions. They are always more than willing to help me out or find somebody immediately who can answer any of my questions. It also doesn't matter if it's a rainy day, if it's the first thing in the morning or right before closing either, they are simply pleasant people I enjoy talking to (and I've learned a lot from them, which, in turn, means that I've spent more money there after asking questions of the staff members). I have been able to wean myself off of two different kinds of prescription medications that helped me with anxiety and with pain. Now I know exactly what works for my sleeping disorders as well as how to cope with chronic back pain that I was born with so that I can lead a semi-normal life. So glad that I have been able to get honest answers from the staff members here, without them making me feel like I'm just some old idiot who doesn't know what she's doing. Worst dispensary in MA. This place is always a mess and smells like ass. No one here ever knows anything about their products anytime I ask questions. They all also have no idea how the laws and mass work. My license was expired, but I provided an alternate state government issued ID and one week they accepted it but not the next. False advertise their products! Has happened twice now!!! Travel all the way there for an online order and product is not what is advertised. Waste of time and is this on purpose? Shady place. Ordered to the wrong store. The new Taunton location that I've been very happy with was not helpful or accommodating for the wrong order. Taunton had the same product but I was told "well it isn't that price here" I called Brockton to see if they could help. They were rude to me and hung up on me. I really think they could of done more for a new customer especially since they seem so nice. But very poor experience today. read more
