***SCAM*** SCAM***SCAM alert. I will never step foot in this place again-the employee scams the clients. The employee who she claims to be the marketing and sales director of this brand was sneaky, arrogant, and tried to rip me off. The store is clean and the products seem wonderful. However the employee there must go. When I walked in, the employee did not approach me nor say hello, instead she was on her computer and just glanced her eyes over and back down to the computer. I roamed around the store and had many questions as I am an advocate of natural and organic products. She continued to sit at her computer and made me feel very unwelcome with the complete silence. Finally, I called her over and she rolled her eyes as she got up. She shifted her computer to the side in order to come around the desk so I noticed she was on YELP! Looks like most of her time is spent criticizing other businesses instead of taking care of her own! She then asked me if I was interested in anything in particular and I said I was interested in an eye serum and cream. She gave me a non-confident sales pitch and since my friend had recommended the product to me I asked her how much. She told me it was very expensive. WHAT??? What do you mean very expensive! I thought this was a scene out of pretty woman. What is the dollar price I asked her. She said if I paid cash she would give me a special price. I didn't realize we were at a flea market and I was entitled to bargain. None of the products are marked with a sticker price or shelf tag so I do feel she has the liberty to dictate prices and maybe pocket some, who knows? So glad to have found this product line - as far as I know their formula is unique in the "anti-aging" space. Natural (legit) balms, serum, oils are effective skin softeners in diverse temps and environments - used in Singapore and in Montreal. Scents are intense (especially the ginger oil), spa-worthy, calming. Price points are not comparable to pharmacy products for obvious reasons. I don't live in New York so I purchase online, the process has been straightforward for my deliveries to Asia and Canada. Slick packaging, as an aside. It's a new product line and the company seem keen to spread their message - any and all of my product queries have been answered in detail. Highly recommend, must-have for the east coast winter.
