I already wrote a review of this place on Google after I visited the very first time...and I wanted to give negative stars...and I gave them another chance because everyone has a bad day...and it's so close. I wouldn't return to this place if it was the last recycling joint on earth. It was horrible today. I'm not from NY, and Baltimore doesn't give money for bottles and cans...So I don't know all the rules or the ins and outs of recycling bottles and cans...I mean when you become homeless in Syracuse...is there a handbook or memo I didn't get. Well, these people think I was born with it. I will also preface this review with the fact that I can barely see... And reading small writing on the side of a torn or water damaged label?...Well, just not one of my superpowers...So I walk in with a garbage bag filled, and the little man behind the counter immediately begins shouting at me...in broken English...and when I say broken...I mean incoherent...and I'm just looking at him, and trying to understand the language I don't speak... And this store is in America, by the way... And I'll leave it at that....and the more I don't understand...the more irritated he gets with me...yelling and pointing frantically at me by the end....So I try to throw away the bottles he was yelling and screaming about...in the dumpster they have inside... And then he yelled at me for doing that, and said I couldn't use his trash can.... So my nerves are pretty much shot at this point because I don't know what he's saying and I'm trying to do what he's asking of me... But I'm obviously not getting it right because he's still yelling and getting louder....Then I dump out my bag...he stops yelling and begins laughing at me...and puts his arms on his hips...like he's about to scold a child... And then this jerk comes in behind me... Jerk is the understatement of the year... And he starts being nasty and talking down to me... About how I didn't read the side of the bottle... And I can't exchange the bottles that I had... And that I should have known better... Then the little man that counts the cans.. laughs in my face again...and says (I think...maybe I got the jist of what he said...idk) to the jerk behind me as he laughs at me some more...."Look at this(pointing to my cans and bottles)...look what she bring?".... Finally, I had enough and said "First of All...I haven't a clue what you're trying to tell me...and I'm failing to understand what is so funny...or why any business owner would point, yell, and laugh at a customer for not knowing the rules of a game she's never played. Sorry didn't get the memo, and I would read the label if I could...It's not cool to point and laugh at someone with a disability. Guess I'm not the only one who missed a memo.".... Then he started to say something along the lines of next time I come in to be prepared because "Very busy!"... and I said "Oh Honey, I'm never coming back EVER again...so I don't need you to tutor me on the "The Handbook for the recently recycled." ...And meanwhile back at the ranch....The jerk behind me...who apparently, works there from time to time, is still spewing his ignorance all over the establishment...and at me...I can't really post what I said to him...but use your imagination...the one from the gutter where this guy crawled out of... Then I just stopped talking to him and said to both of them "Keep talking... because I have ear buds in...and I can't hear a word your butchering...and why are you laughing and gossiping about a customer with other customers...right in front of me...like I'm a piece of garbage under your shoe?.... I mean are you guys in the same sewing circle? A woman bringing in the wrong kind of bottle passes for a juicy story these days? People are dying and so are you... by the minute, actually...Please go out and get a life and fast.... why don't you try being nice next time and teach a new person one of your old tricks... Patiently and with kindness next time... instead of laughing and making fun of them with the rest of the customers in store and making them feel like a stupid piece of garbage... Shame on you!"...and as I'm trying to collect my things and my trash so I can get the heck out of there....the little frustrated incoherent man-child... Is just yelling at me at every turn... So I finally just dropped everything...and said "Here...How about you pick it up and do something with it then cuz clearly, I don't understand the right way to do it... And I left on that note. I think Fleetwood Mac said it best "Never Going Back Again!" Bullies who own their own business... Too bad they don't know how to mind it!... Please go somewhere else...
