It's your average sports bar type of scene, pretty clean and they have lots of seating. The all-female servers are pretty scantily clad (not my thing but to each their own). The servers are very polite and cheerful. My favorite thing on their menu are the hush puppies. I sometimes will only order a side of them. I also order the fried catfish plate which is really good, but the batter isn't well bonded to the fish so you can just take it off in one big piece - which I usually do. I used to go here quite often as I only live a couple of blocks away. The food & service went south, IMO, a couple of years ago so I quite going there. Today I thought I would take my Son for a quick bite & a beer. The food was ok, however the draft beer was a little less than cold... I ordered the fish & chips basket & it was ok... my Son ordered nachos & he said they were ok.... The waitress was short & seemed distracted...the music on the juke box was being dominated by some guy, that worked there wearing a bun in his head..., he only played "trash rap" the whole time we were there! I don't mind some rap, but don't care for trash rap, where the whole song is nasty & killing & cussing, every word, no song structure. Terrible atmosphere for a Bar & Grill IMO! The drumsticks were large with a decent flavor, but they were just too tough. Last weekend, Ashley took great care of us even with me acting like a beer snob! The food was fantastic, came out in the proper time and was hot! We had Queso, a burger, wings. I gave this place 4-stars due to the limited menu options and pricey drafts but I did enjoy a cold Modelo Especial Tall Draft, don't know a place in town which offers this so this is a plus! Waitresses were in a gaggle around the kitchen door, some would pull out their phone and check updates, some would come and go with current customers... waited 15-20 minutes and not one waitress came to take our drink order much less our food order. We ordered a beer and a coke and we got our appetizers before our drinks..first time that's ever happened. Buddy ordered snow crab legs, waitress said they don't have them. He also ordered a Swedish mule mixed drink; that too they didn't have the ingredients but it was on their menu. Went here for lunch the other day. Was pleasantly surprised! Only thing that I didn't like was that the front door was locked for a long while after they opened. I followed workers to an entrance and even after I told the waitstaff their front door was locked it took at least 20 mins before they unlocked it. Also the sign for the nightclub part next door had a 2x4 holding it up. I had the veggie pizza which had poblano peppers on it instead of the usual bell peppers which I thought was a nice touch.
