I don't know what's up with the bad reviews... this place is a gem. A true pool hall feel with well kept tables, fresh chalk, cues with quality tips and balance. I was immediately greeted at the door from the lady at the bar. She quickly and politely let me know I had 3 mins on happy hour beer prices. I ordered 2 and was shown the way to my table. Shift change happened and several waitresses hit the floor, making their rounds and checking on me consistently for food or drinks. I didn't feel pressured, but rather I was being well served. Angel was amazing and had a personality that vibed well for the atmosphere. I come to town every two weeks for work, for the past few months. I've been looking for a simple night pleasure and this will definitely become a frequent place for me during my visits to Odessa. Huge kudos to the owner and whoever maintains the tables, shines the balls, and makes any avid pool player have a wonderful time. The bad reviews must be some loud, obnoxious folks that just don't know how to follow rules and proper pool hall etiquette. It's not a place to go crazy and disrespectful toward the tables. I'm glad the staff sticks up for protecting the quality of this place. If you lose a couple bad customers, it's worth it for the good customers. Hope more pool players (fun and competitive players) come check this place out and help boost these reviews so that more people are interested in checking it out when they are in town. We just got off work we found this place fast Eddie's we got there around 5 PM there were six of us having some beers when at 6 o'clock lady walked up to us and told us that we had to pay a seven dollar cover charge to have beers that is ridiculous we got up we left I will never again go to this place how can you charge a seven dollar cover charge to drink beer I am kind of glad we left we found a Nother place down the street that was called bottoms up I would recommend bottoms up over this place read more

It was fairly crowded for a small town bar on a Sunday night before Memorial Day. Jessica and I walk in and went straight to the bar. I guess having a big rack didnt get me much service at the bar nor did it at a table. All the bartenders were bitches and same goes for the waitstaff except one. She was nice enough to serve us if we went to a table. The bartenders didnt even acknowledge our existence even while waving money in her face. The guys got served before us...which I can understand as I have been a waitress too....but this was bad. I even change spots at the bar to see if she would serve me....nothing. Everything was a little overpriced for where we were....and it being Sunday and all. Not impressed....may have to come back on another night the next time I am out there. read more

A good bar to go to if your feeling dirty. We have been to fast eddies a few times because co workers invite us, you can smoke in the bar so know that when you leave you will smell of smoke. The waitresses are dressed strange and if your at a table will bother you and bother you when they show up for their shift so they can make a tip. If you are there at night there is a woman in the restroom (a guy in the men's restroom) who set up all their perfumes, etc. and want to hand you a towel and be tipped when they is a dryer right there. It makes it pretty awkward. This is not a nice or fancy establishment so you wouldn't expect that. There is also a women who roams around trying to sell everyone roses to give to girls. It has been known for people to do drugs in the bathroom. And every time I go I see waitresses in there either crying or complaining about something or other. The food is bad. The pizza is like $12 but it's just a frozen pizza. (Rip off) Putting up with all that, pool is only $5.00 to play for however long you want. And it's a large facility. This bar really needs to be on that show BAR RESCUE!!!!!!! read more

Cover charge between 7-9 till close, drinks are priced fair. Smoking allowed. Gets busier past 10pm Pool is good, but pricey. Overall not a bad place to kick back for a few beers. Live events, DJ on certain nights, UFC fights and major sporting events on all screens. read more

2nd visit in 2 weeks visiting Odessa for work. (1st visit I would have rated a 3 star, really great waitress ) This visit was last night so it was free Monday, BIG MISTAKE! The crowd was totally different. Two men looked like students who needed office referrals for wearing their trousers below their butt cheeks and one could not keep his hands off his genitals. I inquired about the dress code and very unconcerned waitress informed me the only dress code for men was no tank tops. She also informed me if I was offended to leave. As my finance' and I were leaving there was a screaming match between some girls as their "men" were fighting. Where's the management? Amarillo's Fast Eddies is much much nicer. I went up there sometime last year and it was after work so it was around 10 PM. I wasn't feeling like drinking or even playing pool so I only ordered one beer. When I ordered I specifically said that I just wanted to one then to close my tab because I was using my card. The very next day I looked at my account and I was charged $28. I called and they said that there was another person with my same first name "John" so that's why I was probably charged. In the end they said to just come on by and they could refund me my money because of the situation. Everything was cool. Until two days later I was charged again for $35. So I immediately called my bank and explain the situation and they refunded my money thank goodness. Never going back to that place. They just advertise the new menu but that's not gonna help this place at all. read more

I started to come here in 2013 when I was on leave. I've met some of my best friends here. Once I moved back to Odessa, I started coming here regularly by myself or with a group of friends. They host great fight nights, it's some of the cheapest pool in town, they play good music and have a friendly staff. My boyfriend and I decided to go out to fast Eddie's last night for a couple of drinks. We had a good time until we got our check which was the $78. I am and always have been a lightweight when it comes to drinking and only had 3 mich Ultras and a vodka drink while boyfriend had 2 crown royals on the rocks. Once we disputed the charge at the bar, the bartender corrected it to the $54 it should have been. Thought all was good until the next day when I see 2 delegate charges from Fast Eddie's on my bank statement for $78 and for $82. Neither was even the correct amount in the first place. I called and spoke to the manager and they tried to say that I had 2 tabs open, one with the bartender and one with the waitress and that I must of been too drunk to remember coming up to the bar several times ordering "purple geckos" to drink. I don't even know what that drink is. Not to mention they ran my card for the $82 charge at 3:30 a.m agreed I was already long gone, asleep in my bed. I would NOT suggest going to this bar unless you don't mind getting robbed by the bartenders/waitresses. I've reported fraud on my bank account and hopefully I can get this worked out. Over all its a big bar lots of pool tables and dart boards. That just about all the rave I can give this place. Bartenders are untrained mix drink menu is awful and the drink taste water down. Bathrooms are awkward and a mess waitresses need to dress better they look like 2 cent prostiutes. The punching bag game?!?!! Almost thought I was in a strip club with the way one of the waitresses was acting, she let guys grab her for money and took shots at the tables I hope the other waitresses don't behave like that...I resisted the urge to tell her she should go work at an actual strip club if she was going to act like that.
