I visited here around 1 PM on a Monday in November. There was one person finishing up a big shop and chatting with the employee as we walked around and looked and interacted with all the little trinkets. It's so hard to even describe the store because there's any and everything here. In the back right, there were clothing. In the front right of the store, there were magnets and other things for your desk. In the front left of the store and along majority of the left wall, there was everything from essential oil of candles to incense. In the middle of the store, it was a mosh pit of everything else you can think of that is inspired by south and Southeast Asian culture. I go to the swap meet, flee market, and cultural stores a lot and this place was a bit cheaper than what I seen in other places. The only downside to this place is that it is overstimulating. I love colors but even this was a bit much for me. I was visually overstimulated. The smells were a bit overwhelming. I was just not prepared for that.

The Golden Triangle has been in the Gables for as long as I can remember, and the perfect place to pick up a unique gift. I usually go for crystals and incense but they have a lot of interesting things. If you want to pick up something unique and meaningful, this is your spot. Parking is ample on the street, but be mindful of times as during lunch and happy hour times its busy. There is a garage on aragon right by the store so it's a good option as well. The folks at the store are always helpful if you have questions about what may fit your needs best.

The other side is so much fun to interact with, notwithstanding it's that side which controls the physical realm. Anyway, this is a well-stocked well-organized botanica. They basically have everything you need for the anti-Christ lifestyle, holy sticks, sacred plants, candles, trinkets, cascarilla, oils & sprays, amulets, necklaces, bracelets, books(in Spanish), divination cards, and statues etc. I love that they have books(in Spanish) elucidating the spiritual and magical properties of sacred Plants. The only problem I have with this place is they have instruction manuals(in Spanish) and books with sigils to "open doors" in Palo Mayombe. If you play with this kind of fire my children, the regret will be neverending. https://bit.ly/2ZREIeG Be forewarned, everyone included those trained in these arts(Palo) typically end up having an early exit from this realm. Stick with the Orisha & the Saints(Orisha are not Saints), and you'll be fine. Seek the protection of Olorun, the guidance of Obatala, and the love of Yemonja and live a good life.

Beautiful store.. great selection of the finest crystals and jewelry and amazing customer service!read more

Sometimes I think I should become a Feng Shui Consultant and help out this New Age inspired shops…read moreso that their presentation is more in tune with the whole idea of spirituality and peace. All the big box retailers use these techniques anyway, why can't boutiques implement them as well? I was made aware of Silver Dragon Shop/Store because they were hosting a group meditation. I wanted to check them out on Yelp, but they were not listed. So, in good Yelp etiquette, here is my contribution to the world... Silver Dragon is a mix of several things. It is first and foremost a jewelry store, secondly a New Age store, and thirdly, a furniture/antique shop and gallery. Let me explain. The jewelry for sale at this shop is very nice, it is somewhat upscale, but more importantly, it is jewelry that uses stones and crystals that will help you with your spiritual growth. If you don't believe in the science of crystals and stones, or in spiritual growth, well, you may as well stop reading. So, there are lots of necklaces, wristbands, rings and earrings available. For the New Age part, there are lots of esoteric items, such as bowls, chalices, statues, bells, etc. Also, the walls are covered in Tibetan mandalas, and maybe some Egyptian Art and Native American Art. There are also ornamental pieces, like statues of Hindu deities and Buddha. As for antiques, there's some artwork that is original and antique, and some statues that may be antique as well. At first, Silver Dragon may seem to be a shop for the Goddesses, but the Warrior may find something in here too. Also available at this shop/store, you can find incense, sage, oils, and some books. And, the reason why I stopped by. Silver Dragon offers several services, all having to do with spiritual growth, energy, meditation and some divination. They offer some workshops also. When I visited, I asked about these services but was referred to the website and the mailing list. I suggest you call or e-mail if you want to inquire about the workshops and services. Finally, they have a very nice website where you can see many of their items for sale, but obviously, a visit to the store will give you a better feel for what Silver Dragon is all about. Actually, I encourage you to enter that world.

You walk through an outdoor entrance with black iron gates and the first thing you see at this bookstore is a bar! Ha. They have a cute outdoor patio seating area where you can eat, drink and read a book. There is an indoor cafe space and seating area as well. There are literally books EVERYWHERE!!! On the left side is an entrance to one side of the bookstore and on the right side is another entrance to the other side of the bookstore. Super organized with tall shelves of books, books and more books!!! f you walk past the bar outside and pass the outdoor patio area, there is another entrance in the middle to the indoor cafe with more seating. The indoor cafe entrance also connects to the bookstore inside too. We stopped by here during the day when we were walking around Coral Gables grabbing lunch and checking out the local museums. But we didn't have time to browse so we came back at night after dinner. At night, there's a bar/lounge vibe which is cool. They also had live music when we were there on a Saturday night. Beautiful bookstore set up and organization. They sell cute gift items too and the kids section is great! Love everything about this spot and I believe they have several other Books & Books locations. The Coral Gables location I think is the original and biggest one? Go check them out.

Whether it's a solo trip for a quick purchase or a meeting spot for a quick bite and leisurely stroll, they have everything you need and can cater to any in search of some good books without the secondhand hassle. The open courtyard at the entrance has a bar offering light lobster options and wine. The floor plan has a winding maze-like layout making your browsing experience much more interesting. They also host book signing events with local authors so checking their social media pages is a good way to sneak peak what's in store. They have something for every reader and even plenty of independent and local newspapers. The staff is very helpful and they're quick to help you find whatever material you're searching for. The prices are reasonable and there's plenty of categories to choose from. It's perfect to come here when you want a chill activity without the hustle and bustle. There are deals on the wine bottles during the week so check their calendar. I recommend this place over the conglomerate booksellers because they really support local business owners and their prices are extremely attractive for the range they offer.
