But when you compare this beef with for example beef from le Bourdonnec or Hugo Desnoyer, and you see that you're paying about half of what you would be at those two elite butchers', you realise that this place is actually a find. If you have a taste for high level meat, you should know about this place and come here . Not only that, the welcome is friendly and the empanadas are wonderful, really quite good . There is also a very good selection of Argentine wine to match with your wonderful picanha. I know of no other place in Paris where I can buy fresh and correctly butchered picanha for €35 per kilo. When my (White) husband goes, he's treated well. When I go (woman of color), I get treated like shit. Never any "hello" or "thank you." Today, that cashier was particularly awful and made it all the more obvious that she's racist. I confronted her about it and she was like "I don't care, go next door then." We're done with Fillion and I hope you won't support this racist business.
