As retirement complexes go, this place is pretty cool. Not that I'm overly familiar with such places (yet) you understand... my father-in-law moved up here from Nantwich and really enjoys his wee flat. There are several separate 3-storey buildings set in the well-groomed grounds of the complex, each with their own self-contained apartments. Everything is accessed by key fob so it's very secure, and the apartments are very well proportioned and laid out. They even get postal service right to the door! . The main building at the entrance houses the administration, restaurant area, gym, hair salon and other communal amenities, and a guest room that you can rent at very reasonable rates when you come to visit your elderly relative. We've used this facility a few times now and it's much better than staying in a budget hotel. read more
