I've always struggled with acne (my hormones seem to believe I'm 16) and have developed a bit of scarring and discoloration over the years. This is something I'm a bit self conscious about, so I did a bit of research and stumbled upon Skin Solutions. I've been seeing Erin once a month for three months now, receiving both a chemical peel and the microdermabrasion facial. During each treatment she's gone above and beyond to help lighten the scarring, and has also provided a ton of education in order to prevent the breakouts. The first treatment I received was the glycolic peel. This peel is more abrasive than your traditional skincare. Following the treatment you shed your top layer of skin for several days. This process turns you into a bit of a reptile, so I definitely suggest scheduling a peel on a weekend when you're able to grab a bottle of wine, order UberEats, and hibernate. Since your new layer of skin is fresh and unprotected, it's also best to stay out of the sun to prevent sun damage. This process was pain free and I was ecstatic with the smoothness and the color correction of my new layer of skin! I never want a facial to be fully relaxing, instead I prefer an esthetician that pokes and prods until all the gunk is removed from my pores. Erin does a great job of balancing pain and pleasure during your session, and leaves both my skin and mind feeling cleansed. While It hasn't been a drastic overnight change, I'm aware that the skin journey takes time, money, and effort - and I'm so glad to have Erin's expertise! A week had passed and I still haven't received a shipping confirmation so I emailed the company asking about it (to which I didn't get a response). So, I decided to DM @goatedgemi on instagram. She said there was a mix up with the items so there's a delay and that she'd send me a tracking number in a few hours. 4 days later, I asked for an update. I was ignored. 6 days after that, I told her it'd been too long and so I wanted a refund. She said she'd issued a refund and that she does not offer 'nationwide' shipping (I think she meant international shipping since I don't live in the US?). I asked how long it would take and I didn't get a reply. Texted her two more times and I finally got a reply a week after. She said the refund had been issued and that I should've received it by now. I checked with my bank and I didn't receive anything, so I asked her if she could send proof of the refund. She said yes, and ignored me yet again. I texted her twice again to ask where it was and she still ignored me. SCAM fr don't buy stuff from this place.
