That's not why you should hire Mike & Mike...well not the only reason, because their work is top notch. The biggest reason you should hire them (and I absolutely acknowledge I'm an old man yelling "get off my lawn!" here) is "honesty and integrity." These guys come from the old school of standing by your work and letting it speak for itself. My wife really wanted a fridge with an ice maker but the house we moved into didn't have a water line for that. I was trying to get an idea of what it would cost to have one installed so we could decide whether it was within our budget so we could pick a fridge and move forward with our lives. You would seriously not believe how hard that was. I made it abundantly clear to everyone I talked to that I knew they couldn't give me a binding estimate without actually seeing the project, and I begged for just a guess at a range...would this be somewhere between $200 - $2,000, am I looking at more like $10,000? Am I going to need another mortgage for this? I talked to probably 20 different handymen. 19 of them pretended they had no idea what it might cost and wouldn't even give a ballpark or a range without sending someone into my home so they could use their high-pressure sales tactics to make sure they got my business. They had either never done a job like this before, in which case I didn't want them, or they were lying to me, in which case I also didn't want them. Mike and Mike were the exact opposite. I asked what they expected it would cost, and they made their best guess and gave me a range of the top and bottom end based on really hard or really easy jobs. They were super flexible and easy to work with, and when the job was done they came in at the very bottom end of what they had estimated. They were on time, quick, super respectful, and my wife is smiling ear-to-ear. So yeah, there's plenty of handymen you could hire who will probably do a great job. These two are the only ones I know of who will do that AND be good humans at the same time. Thank you so much, Mikes!

We went on yelp to look for a professional to help us and I came across 702 Handyman who had great reviews. I messaged them to get a quote. Jason responded back so quickly and gave me an estimate. He said that he was able to come out today (1/8/2019) and get it fixed for me. He was on time and showed me what the problem was. He also showed me how to do it next time if it gets jammed again. He was amazing!! Thank you so much Jason!! Update (5/26/2020)- In the past month, Jason had to come to my house to fix two different things. One was my storm door that he has work on before. For some reason, the storm door got stuck again. He fixed it and it is working as good as new again. He just came today to fix my clogged kitchen sink and the garbage disposal that wasn't running. He is just amazing and knows what he is doing. He is definitely my go-to handyman!! I just recommended him to my friend cause she was looking for someone to fix her clogged sink and garbage disposal. If you need someone to do an amazing job on fixing things, Jason would be the person to choose!! Thank you so much Jason!!

We pay $800 space lot rent per month to Gingerwood Manufactured Mobile Home Park, LLC. We do not own the land beneath our mobile home. We own our mobile home. We are not responsible for any repairs to the main water line or sewer line that is under the dirt beneath our mobile home! The repair done was to clear out a tough clog at the main sewer line coming into our home from the back wall to the front of our mobile home. We had been leaking sewage into the front of our home and down the street. Rants Plumbing gave us the $780.00 bill and told us to give the bill to the Managers of the Gingerwood Manufactured Mobile Home Park, LLC. Because of past retaliatory things happening to other tenants in the park we feared giving this bill to the managers of the park. Instead, we set up a payment plan of $100 per month to Rants Plumbing. Today, Rants plumbing sent us a check to reimburse us the initial $100 we had paid Rants Plumbing. We had notified the State of Nevada Housing Division for Manufactured Homes of our dilemma. Thank God, we finally got our money back and don't have to pay the additional $680 bill. The managers of Gingerwood Manufactured Mobile Home Park, LLC did the right thing and paid off the Rants Plumbing bill as it is their responsibility as they own the land beneath all of the mobile homes in Gingerwood Senior Mobile Home Park in Boulder City, Nevada. Thank you, Managers of Gingerwood Senior Mobile Home Park! Thank you, Rants Plumbing! Thank you, State of Nevada Housing Division for Manufactured Mobile homes! Edward Denaut and Lois Denaut

The ones that Rants installed, per the date-stamps, on each water heater, were 2 years old. They had been stored, unused, for 2 years--or possibly, actually used. I had problems with them breaking, within a few months, and 2 had corrosion. There was also sloppy installation work. I called AO Smith, the manufacturer, who said that even if the water heaters had never been used, their anode rods, and other parts still go bad. They, and 3 plumbing companies, said Rants cheated, and to get a refund. Chuck refused to refund. I sent Chuck my already-written lawsuit with documentation, and photos. I gave him 5 days to return my money or Id report him, and sue him. Begrudgingly, he finally texted me that he had put my $5043 check in my mailbox--with no apology and with no excuses.

I later discovered that the license Elmer Lopez mentioned does not appear to be valid. Soon after the installation, all of the lights stopped working. Attempts to contact him via text, phone, and email were unsuccessful. This made me feel disappointed and frustrated. Additionally, the day after installation, he offered to sell me six rocks for $180.00. The rocks together weighed less than 200 pounds, and I suspected they were not purchased from a retailer. He proposed a price of 0.90 per pound, which seemed very high to me. I declined and researched that Star Nursery offered larger, more attractive boulders at 0.09 to 0.12 cents per pound. When I raised this with Elmer, he told me to keep the rocks. I'm certain he found these "rocks" and tried to overcharge me for them. Based on my experience, I would not recommend hiring this company to install something as simple as a toilet seat, let alone for larger garden lighting projects. Some explanations I received for job delays seemed questionable, and it appeared that Elmer Lopez may have hired someone else to complete most of the work. As a customer, this left me dissatisfied with the quality of workmanship, communication, and the handling of licensing information. If you are considering hiring this service, I encourage you to proceed with extreme caution. One last thought, when Elmer starts talking about his "heart issues," don't fall for it or feel sympathy for him. It is an obvious tactic to gain your business and, in the end, try to bilk you for more money, as he did with me.

I texted him twice with no response, no show, no phone call with any excuse. Absolutely, unreliable I would not recommend him. Why waste my time if he wouldn't call or show up? UPDATE: After my initial review Elmer reached out to me and apologized and told me that he would be at my house around 3 pm. Well, it's the next day and I still haven't heard from him. You are forewarned, if you are planning on hiring this guy make sure you don't pay him upfront because this person definitely seems like the type of person that would take your money and run. Let's say he got caught up doing something he couldn't have his son or someone else reach out. What I don't understand is if he was going to flake and waste my entire day why did he reach out to me to begin with?
