This place did not disappoint. I was lucky enough to be having brunch with a friend who loves food, taking pictures of it and sharing everything he gets. He was also really hungry and ordered two different items off the menu. Thus we had a feast of El Gringo, muesli, and I ordered the French toast with bacon, bananas and ricotta. The El Gringo was ridiculously good! All the different flavors on the plate combined to create one amazing dish and two happy tummies! I'm not a muesli connoisseur so I don't have much to say, but it was very fresh, light and pleasing. The French toast is the bomb-dot-com! You have to try it! You have to make sure to get a small pice of everything in one bite. It is heaven in your mouth! I will definitely return to this place and will bring all of my overseas visitors AND tell all my friends about it. I liked it that much. Last but not least, I spoke to my friend today an he said he's been having dreams about the French toast we had! Haha he wants to go again before he flys home to LA.

I used to trek a fair distance to get to Atomica, and was very excited when I moved near by - my hungover walks to get my strong latte's were a lot shorter! But if you go to a café for a friendly barista and some great service, Atomica may not be the place for you. The high turnover of staff means you rarely see a familiar and friendly face, and to be honest, sometimes they'd prefer to chat to each other than actually serve you. But despite all this, they make one helluva coffee and have a pretty sensational menu too.

I haven't had the coffee so I can't comment on that, but I have had their freshly squeezed orange juice and assorted wraps and baguettes, all toasted of course. It's nothing too out of the ordinary, but they have been tasty nevertheless and that equals to a win in my books. There's also a menu to try and I haven't had the chance to experience yet, that's on my food to-do list (or is that to-eat list?). The staff always greet me with a smile and has a nice welcoming vibe to it when you sit down. You feel a little hip. During the morning, it can get extremely busy, but which café doesn't? There's plenty of room to sit down and considering how close it is to my work, it's usually my go to café when I'm feeling a little hungry at work, which is all the time.

A world of lost charm. Laid back upbeat and friendly service; relaxed yet on the money. Altough I'm not covering new territory, I ordered the baked eggs. (Chorizo, beans and awesome spiciness.) These reach the holy grail of breakfast eggs: still runny (liquid) and soft yolks! Be Gone horrid wretched and foul cooked solid yolks! Yuck! Kudos points awared, none of this hard boilded silliness. It was quiet when I visited, but I can imagine it at full tilt when its busy and kaos. It would be entirely different. Its good to take time out and explore it not on a weekend. They also do a lunch menu, but I have yet to encounter it. Kitchen Hours are 7am- 3pm, and the place itself closes at 4pm. I assume seven days a week? My normal spot is proud Mary and those who know its name know its not everyday a spot gives it a run for its money. This place surprisingly does. I got a flat white and a hot honey halloumi sandwich and my homie got a long black and the eggs. Everything was heaping quite clean and flavorful. The coffee wasn't overpowering or super milky and I was surprised at how easy it went down given a lot of flat whites I've tried have been all over the spectrum. Prices were easy to stomach given the under 20 for my sandwich and my flat white being 5 bucks. Our waiter was super solid and costantly doing all the things I do appreciate when it comes to customer service even refilling my coffee when I didn't expect to. I do like this spot and I expect this to be a break in the usual rotation in a good way. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!
