I really wanted to get a NOLA themed pride shirt to show my support. The owner was the clerk, I believe. He was so funny and friendly. They have tons of pride items and lots of risque novelty items too. It's just such a fun place. The prices were nice too. I ended up with a pride cray shirt. I sent a photo to my new friend I'd met at BP&P the night before and got his seal of approval. Tons of stuff to look at and a great way to support. Love the sign on the front door too. GREAT STORE! The manager Doug McCarthy was so nice and personable. I collect bartender bottle openers and we walked the entire street looking for them. We always stop by this store and knew they had them, but searched other stores along the way. But it was a waste of time. NO OTHER STORE had a REAL bar key like Bourbon Pride did. I have come here twice to buy items. The staff are rude, unfriendly and unprofessional. Recently, I asked about the customer service charge. The response I got "it has always been there." That is not a response. I further inquired via their listed email address on two occasions for an explanation. No response was given. No response is not a response. Luckily, my credit card company is aggressive with these matters and has issued a full refund until the store responds. User agreements with credit card processing is to full explain in a prominent place what the additional fees represent. There are alternatives to doing business here. This is a teeny tiny little shop tucked into Bourbon street with a ton of rainbow and other pride items! You'll also find some novelty adult toys, some cheeky tees, some cleaners, and super cute enamel pins! I snagged myself the only agender sticker I could find and bought a couple of trans and nonbinary pride stickers for a some other folks. I really wished there were more stickers and such for the Ace people. I also ended up buying a Moira pin that I definitely did not need. I'm so glad to have her in my collection. The person working there was fast and friendly. The clerk actually let a customer who was on a scooter go ahead and bring their scooter into the shop so they wouldn't have to worry about leaving it outside where the crowds were still milling about, even made an announcement so the rest of us to clear a path for a quick exit. I thought that was really considerate. Definitely a good spot to stock up on your rainbow pride needs. read more

I needed to add some QUEER accessories to my wardrobe and this tiny little shop on Bourbon Street across from Clover Grill was exactly the place I needed. They have a decent selection of t-shirts, tank-tops, shorts, hats, stickers, jewelry, cards, gifts, flags, and more. Josh works behind the counter. He is the owner and the face of Bourbon Pride. He was VERY nice and helpful. He was kind enough to get product of of the back when I couldn't find a size shirt that I looked for and even offered to print some more shirts in a color and style that I liked. Thanks Josh! Extremely rude costumer service. My boyfriend was showing me a shirt with a funny text on it and I kept seeing the store. The older guy at the counter then starts talking to me from a far and I didn't understand quite what he was telling me and seeing I still didn't understand after repeating it looks at me very upset and tells me very rudely to "PAY ATTENTION" my bf stepped in and said to me he was just saying a joke about the shirt. It doesn't matter if I didn't understand or how many times he was repeating this to me that is no reason to talk to anyone like that especially when I was just a costumer looking at the store and minding my own business. I have never been talked to that way or been told to "pay attention" let alone by an employee at a store. read more

Bourbon Pride is a small LGBT store that features everything you'd find in any other LGBT store: skimpy men's underwear, lube, gay flag memorabilia, jocks, and fun t shirts. While the store isn't out of the ordinary, the selection they have in this tiny little store is kind of impressive. There are things tucked away pretty much everywhere. It was my first time in New Orleans and I had to find an appropriate souvenir to bring home. I searched Yelp and Bourbon Pride was one of the stores that was suggested. It was not the first store we visited. In fact, we Uber-ed to different stores to find good souvenirs. We ended up here because of all the voodoo dolls. They were so cute! Perfect to bring home to friends and families. They also have stickers. Omg! I just bought a lot of them. LOL. This is the perfect store for souvenir voodoo dolls. Buy them all! The super rude guy that was working needs to go. If he's the owner, he should hire friendly workers. NO ONE is looking at your little signs about no photos so if you see someone take a pic then be polite about it. No need to go on and on and on about it. Same goes for your "dressing room" signs. This business is unprofessional. A friend of mine, took a picture unaware of the policy. The manager then rudely came over and stated there are 14 signs that state no pictures, most people can read. My friend then put the phone away, stating to us that the manager said there are 14 signs in store stating that most people can read. Then the manager went into my friend face and proceed to say we had to leave because we were mocking him. Clearly that wasn't the case. Then proceed to let my friend know he had a million dollars and called her a bitch. Management clearly does not know how to handle itself and clear indication of what a tourist can expect coming into a establishment such as this.
