    T-shirt I bought
    Richard Walton C.

This a great gift and souvenir shop with a wide variety of items. They are located in the same block as The Court of Two Sisters, on same side of the street. As soon as I walked inside, I spotted exactly what I was looking for, a T-shirt for my granddaughter. They had every size available in the pattern that I wanted too. I was in a hurry because my parking time was running out so I didn't have enough time to completely shop every shelf and rack but they had quite a selection. The price of the T-shirt at $15.95 was very reasonable for a gift shop. I would like to return here next time I'm in town to explore the store more.

Lovely Gift Shop in the French Quarters - there are more than this one location of Forever New Orleans! (05/15/22)

Charming family owned gift shop. Good service. Organized sections of quality knickknacks. Finding the softest Tee this time. Reasonable prices. Seldom empty handed when leaving either of their stores. CHEERS!

Loved this little shop full of cute boutique type things. Adorable souvenirs for your trip. We got t-shirts and bumper sticker but they had purses, sandals, earrings, high end gifts, platters, dish towels, dishes. They had some pricier things. This is not your cheap touristy place. This is super cute and chic!

Forever New Orleans is a cute souvenir shop that is worth stopping at! My friends and I underestimated how hot the day would be and we stumbled in here to buy t-shirts for our bike tour. This place is great to buy commemorative t-shirts, cute mugs, and other decorations or household items - but they're not tacky! I highly recommend stopping here during your stay in NOLA, especially if you want to bring gifts back home. There's something for everyone here from trinkets to bath and body items - even items to get newlyweds! Super cute store and the prices are not bad. An assortment of gifts and items to take back home to remember a trip to New Orleans.

Forever New Orleans may have a reputation as the go-to for tourists who want to take a little NOLA home with them, but I'll let you in on a little secret... locals know that we'll also find what we need to make our New Orleans homes special. So many cool things at fair prices. The staff is always super helpful. They'll even deliver your purchase for free, locally.

Love the store, love that there were three little versions of the store spent several in all 3 stores... Was just super bummed that when I got home (Boston) the sweater I purchased had a big tear in the collar so I cant go back & return... I will just have to stitch it up, just mad that I missed it when purchasing. But otherwise the store was SUPER CUTE, had tons of little trinket things & lots of cute decorative items. Lots of great handmade jewelry and other items. When back in New Orleans I would def stop in.

Forever New Orleans is a cute gift shop in the French Quarter. A couple of friends and I popped in to check it out while walking around and exploring. The shop has lots of merchandise, so if you're looking for a gift this is a nice place to check out. They had everything from clothing to dishes to books to food stuffs to home decor. And the list goes on... I actually noticed some items that are carried in shops here in Louisville, Kentucky as well - specifically an eye mask B just purchased for me from Work the Metal. So, this shop must order from the same retailers. I doubt I would personally visit this shop again, because it's not the kind of shopping I'm looking to do when I'm in the French Quarter, but if you need a gift for someone in the area, or you're looking for some nice gifts to take home with you from a visit, then this is a nice spot.

    Amazing gift selection!

When I worked at a Pandora store in Chicago several years ago, I was made aware that every city has their exclusive charms, and I knew I needed a New Orleans one. The sales associate with red hair (she never gave me her name) who helped us was really sweet, it didn't take long for her to notice that I needed some help, and she even left the charms out for me to look/touch while she went to grab her glasses. I can appreciate her for trusting that I wouldn't walk right out the store with the product, and the one charm that caught my eye was the Cathedral with a blue backdrop. She was sweet to explain to us that the cathedral is right around the corner just walking distance from the shop, and we actually saw it right by Jackson Square on our way to Bungalows. I love how this is a boutique but they also carry so many different brands of jewelry (Alex & Ani, Brighton, etc), and they had a designated Pandora section that's visible right when you enter. I'd recommend Bungalows to anyone in the area looking for some Pandora charms or a boutique.

Ultimately, Swap has singlehandedly eliminated my need to ever go to Lakeside Mall or Canal place, and has given me the wonderful ability of clicking delete when I get a sale notice from Banana or J. Crew because I know I can get the item at Swap in the same condition for less money. First, the owner, Michelle, is fabulous. It is like she has read every how to make your employees and people around you respect and love you book on the market. Or maybe it's innate for her. I don't know. Michelle is a genuinely kind person, who signs every single one of her business' emails with every single store associates name. In a world of faceless corporations, that means a considerable amount. Swap discounts items on a schedule. I know they do at 30 and 60 days, so you can take a gamble and watch an item if you are in love. Swap has only been open for a little over two years, and nearly half of my wardrobe went to be consigned there and the other half has been rejuvenated by it. My finds include Theory shirt dresses for 15 dollars, silk Club Monaco skirts for under 30, Coach wallets and wristlets, Tory Burch clutches for under 100, a Guess red peacoat that was Blair Waldorf worthy for under 70, banana republic silk tops, etc. How did this happen you say? Michelle opened her store in a section of town that has wealthier liberal arts schools literally 2,500 feet away (tulane and loyola) and is wedged in a wealthier part of new orleans. So, an influx of a revolving market with a disposable income. Brilliant! She works her butt off to get the word out about her store to New Orleans' ladies who lunch who then bring their garmets here. (Thankfully) There is no hipster ridiculous pretentiousness here (Im lookin' at you Buffalo Exchange) and they are always kind when you consign your items. I have never been treated anything but wonderfully by Michelle and her crew. If you are in the area, make a point to stop here. Honestly, I would work here for free if it were legal, but well, we both know there are labor laws. note: sign up for store emails because Swap loves coupons as much as you budget fashionistas do, and they also have an ebay edition of their store.

Then I found out from the shop attendant that the state flower of Louisiana is the Magnolia! What??? My boyfriend's mom was born & raised in NOLA and loved our dog. She has been gone for a year and half, so finding this out strangely makes me feel connected to her and that she is still around. :*) Anyway, the sweet shop guy asked me to tell him the story of how my dog and I found each other. I recounted the tale of how I found her at PAWS Chicago, where she came from originally (Oklahoma), that she had a brother named "Steel", how she saved me from a life of stress, and then our connection to NOLA. I always appreciate when someone can create a warm and fuzzy moment. So thank you, Shop Guy! The collar is high quality all around - material and construction. I have purchased MANY custom collars for my baby girl and this has been the best so far. It's worth the money because I know it will last for a long time. I will be checking out their website for Christmas gift ideas since we won't be back until next year!
